1
The
same
day
went
Jesus
out
of
the
house,
and
sat
by
the
sea
side.
2
And
great
multitudes
were
gathered
together
unto
him,
so
that
he
went
into
a
ship,
and
sat;
and
the
whole
multitude
stood
on
the
shore.
3
And
he
spake
many
things
unto
them
in
parables,
saying,
Behold,
a
sower
went
forth
to
sow;
4
And
when
he
sowed,
some
seeds
fell
by
the
way
side,
and
the
fowls
came
and
devoured
them
up:
5
Some
fell
upon
stony
places,
where
they
had
not
much
earth:
and
forthwith
they
sprung
up,
because
they
had
no
deepness
of
earth:
6
And
when
the
sun
was
up,
they
were
scorched;
and
because
they
had
no
root,
they
withered
away.
7
And
some
fell
among
thorns;
and
the
thorns
sprung
up,
and
choked
them:
8
But
other
fell
into
good
ground,
and
brought
forth
fruit,
some
an
hundredfold,
some
sixtyfold,
some
thirtyfold.
9
Who
hath
ears
to
hear,
let
him
hear.
10
And
the
disciples
came,
and
said
unto
him,
Why
speakest
thou
unto
them
in
parables?
11
He
answered
and
said
unto
them,
Because
it
is
given
unto
you
to
know
the
mysteries
of
the
kingdom
of
heaven,
but
to
them
it
is
not
given.
12
For
whosoever
hath,
to
him
shall
be
given,
and
he
shall
have
more
abundance:
but
whosoever
hath
not,
from
him
shall
be
taken
away
even
that
he
hath.
13
Therefore
speak
I
to
them
in
parables:
because
they
seeing
see
not;
and
hearing
they
hear
not,
neither
do
they
understand.
14
And
in
them
is
fulfilled
the
prophecy
of
Esaias,
which
saith,
By
hearing
ye
shall
hear,
and
shall
not
understand;
and
seeing
ye
shall
see,
and
shall
not
perceive:
15
For
this
people’s
heart
is
waxed
gross,
and
their
ears
are
dull
of
hearing,
and
their
eyes
they
have
closed;
lest
at
any
time
they
should
see
with
their
eyes,
and
hear
with
their
ears,
and
should
understand
with
their
heart,
and
should
be
converted,
and
I
should
heal
them.
16
But
blessed
are
your
eyes,
for
they
see:
and
your
ears,
for
they
hear.
17
For
verily
I
say
unto
you,
That
many
prophets
and
righteous
men
have
desired
to
see
those
things
which
ye
see,
and
have
not
seen
them;
and
to
hear
those
things
which
ye
hear,
and
have
not
heard
them.
18
Hear
ye
therefore
the
parable
of
the
sower.
19
When
any
one
heareth
the
word
of
the
kingdom,
and
understandeth
it
not,
then
cometh
the
wicked
one,
and
catcheth
away
that
which
was
sown
in
his
heart.
This
is
he
which
received
seed
by
the
way
side.
20
But
he
that
received
the
seed
into
stony
places,
the
same
is
he
that
heareth
the
word,
and
anon
with
joy
receiveth
it;
21
Yet
hath
he
not
root
in
himself,
but
dureth
for
a
while:
for
when
tribulation
or
persecution
ariseth
because
of
the
word,
by
and
by
he
is
offended.
22
He
also
that
received
seed
among
the
thorns
is
he
that
heareth
the
word;
and
the
care
of
this
world,
and
the
deceitfulness
of
riches,
choke
the
word,
and
he
becometh
unfruitful.
23
But
he
that
received
seed
into
the
good
ground
is
he
that
heareth
the
word,
and
understandeth
it;
which
also
beareth
fruit,
and
bringeth
forth,
some
an
hundredfold,
some
sixty,
some
thirty.
24
Another
parable
put
he
forth
unto
them,
saying,
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
likened
unto
a
man
which
sowed
good
seed
in
his
field:
25
But
while
men
slept,
his
enemy
came
and
sowed
tares
among
the
wheat,
and
went
his
way.
26
But
when
the
blade
was
sprung
up,
and
brought
forth
fruit,
then
appeared
the
tares
also.
27
So
the
servants
of
the
householder
came
and
said
unto
him,
Sir,
didst
not
thou
sow
good
seed
in
thy
field?
from
whence
then
hath
it
tares?
28
He
said
unto
them,
An
enemy
hath
done
this.
The
servants
said
unto
him,
Wilt
thou
then
that
we
go
and
gather
them
up?
29
But
he
said,
Nay;
lest
while
ye
gather
up
the
tares,
ye
root
up
also
the
wheat
with
them.
30
Let
both
grow
together
until
the
harvest:
and
in
the
time
of
harvest
I
will
say
to
the
reapers,
Gather
ye
together
first
the
tares,
and
bind
them
in
bundles
to
burn
them:
but
gather
the
wheat
into
my
barn.
31
Another
parable
put
he
forth
unto
them,
saying,
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
to
a
grain
of
mustard
seed,
which
a
man
took,
and
sowed
in
his
field:
32
Which
indeed
is
the
least
of
all
seeds:
but
when
it
is
grown,
it
is
the
greatest
among
herbs,
and
becometh
a
tree,
so
that
the
birds
of
the
air
come
and
lodge
in
the
branches
thereof.
33
Another
parable
spake
he
unto
them;
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
leaven,
which
a
woman
took,
and
hid
in
three
measures
of
meal,
till
the
whole
was
leavened.
34
All
these
things
spake
Jesus
unto
the
multitude
in
parables;
and
without
a
parable
spake
he
not
unto
them:
35
That
it
might
be
fulfilled
which
was
spoken
by
the
prophet,
saying,
I
will
open
my
mouth
in
parables;
I
will
utter
things
which
have
been
kept
secret
from
the
foundation
of
the
world.
36
Then
Jesus
sent
the
multitude
away,
and
went
into
the
house:
and
his
disciples
came
unto
him,
saying,
Declare
unto
us
the
parable
of
the
tares
of
the
field.
37
He
answered
and
said
unto
them,
He
that
soweth
the
good
seed
is
the
Son
of
man;
38
The
field
is
the
world;
the
good
seed
are
the
children
of
the
kingdom;
but
the
tares
are
the
children
of
the
wicked
one;
39
The
enemy
that
sowed
them
is
the
devil;
the
harvest
is
the
end
of
the
world;
and
the
reapers
are
the
angels.
40
As
therefore
the
tares
are
gathered
and
burned
in
the
fire;
so
shall
it
be
in
the
end
of
this
world.
41
The
Son
of
man
shall
send
forth
his
angels,
and
they
shall
gather
out
of
his
kingdom
all
things
that
offend,
and
them
which
do
iniquity;
42
And
shall
cast
them
into
a
furnace
of
fire:
there
shall
be
wailing
and
gnashing
of
teeth.
43
Then
shall
the
righteous
shine
forth
as
the
sun
in
the
kingdom
of
their
Father.
Who
hath
ears
to
hear,
let
him
hear.
44
Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
treasure
hid
in
a
field;
the
which
when
a
man
hath
found,
he
hideth,
and
for
joy
thereof
goeth
and
selleth
all
that
he
hath,
and
buyeth
that
field.
45
Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
merchant
man,
seeking
goodly
pearls:
46
Who,
when
he
had
found
one
pearl
of
great
price,
went
and
sold
all
that
he
had,
and
bought
it.
47
Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
net,
that
was
cast
into
the
sea,
and
gathered
of
every
kind:
48
Which,
when
it
was
full,
they
drew
to
shore,
and
sat
down,
and
gathered
the
good
into
vessels,
but
cast
the
bad
away.
49
So
shall
it
be
at
the
end
of
the
world:
the
angels
shall
come
forth,
and
sever
the
wicked
from
among
the
just,
50
And
shall
cast
them
into
the
furnace
of
fire:
there
shall
be
wailing
and
gnashing
of
teeth.
51
Jesus
saith
unto
them,
Have
ye
understood
all
these
things?
They
say
unto
him,
Yea,
Lord.
52
Then
said
he
unto
them,
Therefore
every
scribe
which
is
instructed
unto
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
man
that
is
an
householder,
which
bringeth
forth
out
of
his
treasure
things
new
and
old.
53
And
it
came
to
pass,
that
when
Jesus
had
finished
these
parables,
he
departed
thence.
54
And
when
he
was
come
into
his
own
country,
he
taught
them
in
their
synagogue,
insomuch
that
they
were
astonished,
and
said,
Whence
hath
this
man
this
wisdom,
and
these
mighty
works?
55
Is
not
this
the
carpenter’s
son?
is
not
his
mother
called
Mary?
and
his
brethren,
James,
and
Joses,
and
Simon,
and
Judas?
56
And
his
sisters,
are
they
not
all
with
us?
Whence
then
hath
this
man
all
these
things?
57
And
they
were
offended
in
him.
But
Jesus
said
unto
them,
A
prophet
is
not
without
honour,
save
in
his
own
country,
and
in
his
own
house.
58
And
he
did
not
many
mighty
works
there
because
of
their
unbelief.
John 3:17
17
For
God
sent
not
his
Son
into
the
world
to
condemn
the
world;
but
that
the
world
through
him
might
be
saved.
John 5:27
27
And
hath
given
him
authority
to
execute
judgment
also,
because
he
is
the
Son
of
man.
John 12:47
47
And
if
any
man
hear
my
words,
and
believe
not,
I
judge
him
not:
for
I
came
not
to
judge
the
world,
but
to
save
the
world.

1
And
in
that
day
Jesus,
having
gone
forth
from
the
house,
was
sitting
by
the
sea,
2
and
gathered
together
unto
him
were
many
multitudes,
so
that
he
having
gone
into
the
boat
did
sit
down,
and
all
the
multitude
on
the
beach
did
stand,
3
and
he
spake
to
them
many
things
in
similes,
saying:
`Lo,
the
sower
went
forth
to
sow,
4
and
in
his
sowing,
some
indeed
fell
by
the
way,
and
the
fowls
did
come
and
devour
them,
5
and
others
fell
upon
the
rocky
places,
where
they
had
not
much
earth,
and
immediately
they
sprang
forth,
through
not
having
depth
of
earth,
6
and
the
sun
having
risen
they
were
scorched,
and
through
not
having
root,
they
withered,
7
and
others
fell
upon
the
thorns,
and
the
thorns
did
come
up
and
choke
them,
8
and
others
fell
upon
the
good
ground,
and
were
giving
fruit,
some
indeed
a
hundredfold,
and
some
sixty,
and
some
thirty.
9
He
who
is
having
ears
to
hear
--
let
him
hear.`
10
And
the
disciples
having
come
near,
said
to
him,
`Wherefore
in
similes
dost
thou
speak
to
them?`
11
And
he
answering
said
to
them
that
--
`To
you
it
hath
been
given
to
know
the
secrets
of
the
reign
of
the
heavens,
and
to
these
it
hath
not
been
given,
12
for
whoever
hath,
it
shall
be
given
to
him,
and
he
shall
have
overabundance,
and
whoever
hath
not,
even
that
which
he
hath
shall
be
taken
from
him.
13
`Because
of
this,
in
similes
do
I
speak
to
them,
because
seeing
they
do
not
see,
and
hearing
they
do
not
hear,
nor
understand,
14
and
fulfilled
on
them
is
the
prophecy
of
Isaiah,
that
saith,
With
hearing
ye
shall
hear,
and
ye
shall
not
understand,
and
seeing
ye
shall
see,
and
ye
shall
not
perceive,
15
for
made
gross
was
the
heart
of
this
people,
and
with
the
ears
they
heard
heavily,
and
their
eyes
they
did
close,
lest
they
might
see
with
the
eyes,
and
with
the
ears
might
hear,
and
with
the
heart
understand,
and
turn
back,
and
I
might
heal
them.
16
`And
happy
are
your
eyes
because
they
see,
and
your
ears
because
they
hear,
17
for
verily
I
say
to
you,
that
many
prophets
and
righteous
men
did
desire
to
see
that
which
ye
look
on,
and
they
did
not
see,
and
to
hear
that
which
ye
hear,
and
they
did
not
hear.
18
`Ye,
therefore,
hear
ye
the
simile
of
the
sower:
19
Every
one
hearing
the
word
of
the
reign,
and
not
understanding
--
the
evil
one
doth
come,
and
doth
catch
that
which
hath
been
sown
in
his
heart;
this
is
that
sown
by
the
way.
20
`And
that
sown
on
the
rocky
places,
this
is
he
who
is
hearing
the
word,
and
immediately
with
joy
is
receiving
it,
21
and
he
hath
not
root
in
himself,
but
is
temporary,
and
persecution
or
tribulation
having
happened
because
of
the
word,
immediately
he
is
stumbled.
22
`And
that
sown
toward
the
thorns,
this
is
he
who
is
hearing
the
word,
and
the
anxiety
of
this
age,
and
the
deceitfulness
of
the
riches,
do
choke
the
word,
and
it
becometh
unfruitful.
23
`And
that
sown
on
the
good
ground:
this
is
he
who
is
hearing
the
word,
and
is
understanding,
who
indeed
doth
bear
fruit,
and
doth
make,
some
indeed
a
hundredfold,
and
some
sixty,
and
some
thirty.`
24
Another
simile
he
set
before
them,
saying:
`The
reign
of
the
heavens
was
likened
to
a
man
sowing
good
seed
in
his
field,
25
and,
while
men
are
sleeping,
his
enemy
came
and
sowed
darnel
in
the
midst
of
the
wheat,
and
went
away,
26
and
when
the
herb
sprang
up,
and
yielded
fruit,
then
appeared
also
the
darnel.
27
`And
the
servants
of
the
householder,
having
come
near,
said
to
him,
Sir,
good
seed
didst
thou
not
sow
in
thy
field?
whence
then
hath
it
the
darnel?
28
And
he
saith
to
them,
A
man,
an
enemy,
did
this;
and
the
servants
said
to
him,
Wilt
thou,
then,
that
having
gone
away
we
may
gather
it
up?
29
`And
he
said,
No,
lest
--
gathering
up
the
darnel
--
ye
root
up
with
it
the
wheat,
30
suffer
both
to
grow
together
till
the
harvest,
and
in
the
time
of
the
harvest
I
will
say
to
the
reapers,
Gather
up
first
the
darnel,
and
bind
it
in
bundles,
to
burn
it,
and
the
wheat
gather
up
into
my
storehouse.`
31
Another
simile
he
set
before
them,
saying:
`The
reign
of
the
heavens
is
like
to
a
grain
of
mustard,
which
a
man
having
taken,
did
sow
in
his
field,
32
which
less,
indeed,
is
than
all
the
seeds,
but
when
it
may
be
grown,
is
greatest
of
the
herbs,
and
becometh
a
tree,
so
that
the
birds
of
the
heaven
do
come
and
rest
in
its
branches.`
33
Another
simile
spake
he
to
them:
`The
reign
of
the
heavens
is
like
to
leaven,
which
a
woman
having
taken,
hid
in
three
measures
of
meal,
till
the
whole
was
leavened.`
34
All
these
things
spake
Jesus
in
similes
to
the
multitudes,
and
without
a
simile
he
was
not
speaking
to
them,
35
that
it
might
be
fulfilled
that
was
spoken
through
the
prophet,
saying,
`I
will
open
in
similes
my
mouth,
I
will
utter
things
having
been
hidden
from
the
foundation
of
the
world.`
36
Then
having
let
away
the
multitudes,
Jesus
came
to
the
house,
and
his
disciples
came
near
to
him,
saying,
`Explain
to
us
the
simile
of
the
darnel
of
the
field.`
37
And
he
answering
said
to
them,
`He
who
is
sowing
the
good
seed
is
the
Son
of
Man,
38
and
the
field
is
the
world,
and
the
good
seed,
these
are
the
sons
of
the
reign,
and
the
darnel
are
the
sons
of
the
evil
one,
39
and
the
enemy
who
sowed
them
is
the
devil,
and
the
harvest
is
a
full
end
of
the
age,
and
the
reapers
are
messengers.
40
`As,
then,
the
darnel
is
gathered
up,
and
is
burned
with
fire,
so
shall
it
be
in
the
full
end
of
this
age,
41
the
Son
of
Man
shall
send
forth
his
messengers,
and
they
shall
gather
up
out
of
his
kingdom
all
the
stumbling-blocks,
and
those
doing
the
unlawlessness,
42
and
shall
cast
them
to
the
furnace
of
the
fire;
there
shall
be
the
weeping
and
the
gnashing
of
the
teeth.
43
`Then
shall
the
righteous
shine
forth
as
the
sun
in
the
reign
of
their
Father.
He
who
is
having
ears
to
hear
--
let
him
hear.
44
`Again,
the
reign
of
the
heavens
is
like
to
treasure
hid
in
the
field,
which
a
man
having
found
did
hide,
and
from
his
joy
goeth,
and
all,
as
much
as
he
hath,
he
selleth,
and
buyeth
that
field.
45
`Again,
the
reign
of
the
heavens
is
like
to
a
man,
a
merchant,
seeking
goodly
pearls,
46
who
having
found
one
pearl
of
great
price,
having
gone
away,
hath
sold
all,
as
much
as
he
had,
and
bought
it.
47
`Again,
the
reign
of
the
heavens
is
like
to
a
net
that
was
cast
into
the
sea,
and
did
gather
together
of
every
kind,
48
which,
when
it
was
filled,
having
drawn
up
again
upon
the
beach,
and
having
sat
down,
they
gathered
the
good
into
vessels,
and
the
bad
they
did
cast
out,
49
so
shall
it
be
in
the
full
end
of
the
age,
the
messengers
shall
come
forth
and
separate
the
evil
out
of
the
midst
of
the
righteous,
50
and
shall
cast
them
to
the
furnace
of
the
fire,
there
shall
be
the
weeping
and
the
gnashing
of
the
teeth.`
51
Jesus
saith
to
them,
`Did
ye
understand
all
these?`
They
say
to
him,
`Yes,
sir.`
52
And
he
said
to
them,
`Because
of
this
every
scribe
having
been
discipled
in
regard
to
the
reign
of
the
heavens,
is
like
to
a
man,
a
householder,
who
doth
bring
forth
out
of
his
treasure
things
new
and
old.`
53
And
it
came
to
pass,
when
Jesus
finished
these
similes,
he
removed
thence,
54
and
having
come
to
his
own
country,
he
was
teaching
them
in
their
synagogue,
so
that
they
were
astonished,
and
were
saying,
`Whence
to
this
one
this
wisdom
and
the
mighty
works?
55
is
not
this
the
carpenter's
son?
is
not
his
mother
called
Mary,
and
his
brethren
James,
and
Joses,
and
Simon,
and
Judas?
56
and
his
sisters
--
are
they
not
all
with
us?
whence,
then,
to
this
one
all
these?`
57
and
they
were
stumbled
at
him.
And
Jesus
said
to
them,
`A
prophet
is
not
without
honor
except
in
his
own
country,
and
in
his
own
house:`
58
and
he
did
not
there
many
mighty
works,
because
of
their
unbelief.
John 3:17
17
For
God
did
not
send
His
Son
to
the
world
that
he
may
judge
the
world,
but
that
the
world
may
be
saved
through
him;
John 5:27
27
and
authority
He
gave
him
also
to
do
judgment,
because
he
is
Son
of
Man.
John 12:47
47
and
if
any
one
may
hear
my
sayings,
and
not
believe,
I
--
I
do
not
judge
him,
for
I
came
not
that
I
might
judge
the
world,
but
that
I
might
save
the
world.

said
unto

18
Hear
then
ye
the
parable
of
the
sower.
19
When
any
one
heareth
the
word
of
the
kingdom,
and
understandeth
it
not,
then
cometh
the
evil
one,
and
snatcheth
away
that
which
hath
been
sown
in
his
heart.
This
is
he
that
was
sown
by
the
way
side.
20
And
he
that
was
sown
upon
the
rocky
places,
this
is
he
that
heareth
the
word,
and
straightway
with
joy
receiveth
it;
21
yet
hath
he
not
root
in

but
endureth
for
a
while;
and
when
tribulation
or
persecution
ariseth

word,
straightway
he
stumbleth.
22
And
he
that
was
sown
among
the
thorns,
this
is
he
that
heareth
the
word;
and
the
care
of
the
world,
and
the
deceitfulness
of
riches,
choke
the
word,
and
he
becometh
unfruitful.
23
And
he
that
was
sown
upon
the
good
ground,
this
is
he
that
heareth
the
word,
and
understandeth
it;
who
verily
beareth
fruit,
and
bringeth
forth,
some
a
hundredfold,
some
sixty,
some
thirty.
24
Another
parable
set
he
before
them,
saying,
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
likened
unto
a
man
that
sowed
good
seed
in
his
field:
25
but
while
men
slept,
his
enemy
came
and
sowed
tares
also
among
the
wheat,
and
went
away.
26
But
when
the
blade
sprang
up
and
brought
forth
fruit,
then
appeared
the
tares
also.
27
And
the
servants
of
the
householder
came
and
said
unto
him,
Sir,
didst
thou
not
sow
good
seed
in
thy
field?
whence
then
hath
it
tares?
28
And
he
said
unto
them,
An
enemy
hath
done
this.
And
the
servants
say
unto
him,
Wilt
thou
then
that
we
go
and
gather
them
up?
29
But
he
saith,
Nay;
lest
haply
while
ye
gather
up
the
tares,
ye
root
up
the
wheat
with
them.
30
Let
both
grow
together
until
the
harvest:
and
in
the
time
of
the
harvest
I
will
say
to
the
reapers,
Gather
up
first
the
tares,
and
bind
them
in
bundles
to
burn
them;
but
gather
the
wheat
into
my
barn.
31
Another
parable
set
he
before
them,
saying,
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
grain
of
mustard
seed,
which
a
man
took,
and
sowed
in
his
field:
32
which
indeed
is
less
than
all
seeds;
but
when
it
is
grown,
it
is
greater
than
the
herbs,
and
becometh
a
tree,
so
that
the
birds
of
the
heaven
come
and
lodge
in
the
branches
thereof.
33
Another
parable
spake
he
unto
them;
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
leaven,
which
a
woman
took,
and
hid
in
three
measures
of
meal,
till
it
was
all
leavened.
34
All
these
things
spake
Jesus
in
parables
unto
the
multitudes;
and
without
a
parable
spake
he
nothing
unto
them:
35
that
it
might
be
fulfilled
which
was
spoken
through
the
prophet,
saying,
I
will
open
my
mouth
in
parables;
I
will
utter
things
hidden
from
the
foundation
of
the
world.
36
Then
he
left
the
multitudes,
and
went
into
the
house:
and
his
disciples
came
unto
him,
saying,
Explain
unto
us
the
parable
of
the
tares
of
the
field.
37
And
he
answered
and
said,
He
that
soweth
the
good
seed
is
the
Son
of
man;
38
and
the
field
is
the
world;
and
the
good
seed,
these
are
the
sons
of
the
kingdom;
and
the
tares
are
the
sons
of
the
evil
one;
39
and
the
enemy
that
sowed
them
is
the
devil:
and
the
harvest
is
the
end
of
the
world;
and
the
reapers
are
angels.
40
As
therefore
the
tares
are
gathered
up
and
burned
with
fire;
so
shall
it
be
in
the
end
of
the
world.
41
The
Son
of
man
shall
send
forth
his
angels,
and
they
shall
gather
out
of
his
kingdom
all
things
that
cause
stumbling,
and
them
that
do
iniquity,
42
and
shall
cast
them
into
the
furnace
of
fire:
there
shall
be
the
weeping
and
the
gnashing
of
teeth.
43
Then
shall
the
righteous
shine
forth
as
the
sun
in
the
kingdom
of
their
Father.
He
that
hath
ears,
let
him
hear.
44
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
treasure
hidden
in
the
field;
which
a
man
found,
and
hid;
and
in
his
joy
he
goeth
and
selleth
all
that
he
hath,
and
buyeth
that
field.
45
Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
man
that
is
a
merchant
seeking
goodly
pearls:
46
and
having
found
one
pearl
of
great
price,
he
went
and
sold
all
that
he
had,
and
bought
it.
47
Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
net,
that
was
cast
into
the
sea,
and
gathered
of
every
kind:
48
which,
when
it
was
filled,
they
drew
up
on
the
beach;
and
they
sat
down,
and
gathered
the
good
into
vessels,
but
the
bad
they
cast
away.
49
So
shall
it
be
in
the
end
of
the
world:
the
angels
shall
come
forth,
and
sever
the
wicked
from
among
the
righteous,
50
and
shall
cast
them
into
the
furnace
of
fire:
there
shall
be
the
weeping
and
the
gnashing
of
teeth.
51
Have
ye
understood
all
these
things?
They
say
unto
him,
Yea.
52
And
he
said
unto
them,
Therefore
every
scribe
who
hath
been
made
a
disciple
to
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
man
that
is
a
householder,
who
bringeth
forth
out
of
his
treasure
things
new
and
old.
53
And
it
came
to
pass,
when
Jesus
had
finished
these
parables,
he
departed
thence.
54
And
coming
into
his
own
country
he
taught
them
in
their
synagogue,
insomuch
that
they
were
astonished,
and
said,
Whence
hath
this
man
this
wisdom,
and
these
mighty
works?
55
Is
not
this
the
carpenters
son?
is
not
his
mother
called
Mary?
and
his
brethren,
James,
and
Joseph,
and
Simon,
and
Judas?
56
And
his
sisters,
are
they
not
all
with
us?
Whence
then
hath
this
man
all
these
things?
57
And
they
were
offended
in
him.
But
Jesus
said
unto
them,
A
prophet
is
not
without
honor,
save
in
his
own
country,
and
in
his
own
house.
58
And
he
did
not
many
mighty
works
there
because
of
their
unbelief.
John 3:17
17
For
God
sent
not
the
Son
into
the
world
to
judge
the
world;
but
that
the
world
should
be
saved
through
him.
John 5:27
27
and
he
gave
him
authority
to
execute
judgment,
because
he
is
a
son
of
man.
John 12:47
47
And
if
any
man
hear
my
sayings,
and
keep
them
not,
I
judge
him
not:
for
I
came
not
to
judge
the
world,
but
to
save
the
world.

On
that
day
Jesus
went
out
of
the
house,
and
sat
by
the
seaside.
2
Great
multitudes
gathered
to
him,
so
that
he
entered
into
a
boat,
and
sat,
and
all
the
multitude
stood
on
the
beach.
3
He
spoke
to
them
many
things
in
parables,
saying,
"Behold,
a
farmer
went
out
to
sow.
4
As
he
sowed,
some
seeds
fell
by
the
roadside,
and
the
birds
came
and
devoured
them.
5
Others
fell
on
rocky
ground,
where
they
didn't
have
much
soil,
and
immediately
they
sprang
up,
because
they
had
no

earth.

When
the

had
risen,
they
were
scorched.
Because
they
had
no
root,
they
withered
away.
7
Others
fell
among
thorns.
The
thorns
grew
up
and
choked
them:
8
and
others
fell
on
good
soil,
and
yielded
fruit:
some
one
hundred
times
as
much,
some
sixty,
and
some
thirty.
9
He
who
has
ears
to
hear,
let
him
hear."
10
The
disciples
came,
and
said
to
him,
"Why
do
you
speak
to
them
in
parables?"
11
He
answered
them,
"To
you
it
is
given
to
know
the
mysteries
of
the
Kingdom
of
Heaven,
but
it
is
not
given
to
them.
12
For
whoever
has,
to
him
will
be
given,
and
he
will
have
abundance,
but
whoever
doesn't
have,
from
him
will
be
taken
away
even
that
which
he
has.
13
Therefore
I
speak
to
them
in
parables,
because
seeing
they
don't
see,
and
hearing,
they
don't
hear,
neither
do
they
understand.
14
In
them
the
prophecy
of
Isaiah
is
fulfilled,
which
says,
'By
hearing
you
will
hear,
And
will
in
no
way
understand;
Seeing
you
will
see,
And
will
in
no
way
perceive:
15
For
this
people's
heart
has
grown
callous,
Their
ears
are
dull
of
hearing,
They
have
closed
their
eyes;
Or
else
perhaps
they
might
perceive
with
their
eyes,
Hear
with
their
ears,
Understand
with
their
heart,
And
should
turn
again;
And
I
would
heal
them.'
16
"But
blessed
are
your
eyes,
for
they
see;
and
your
ears,
for
they
hear.
17
For
most
assuredly
I
tell
you
that
many
prophets
and
righteous
men
desired
to
see
the
things
which
you
see,
and
didn't
see
them;
and
to
hear
the
things
which
you
hear,
and
didn't
hear
them.
18
"Hear
,
then,
the
parable
of
the
farmer.
19
When
anyone
hears
the
word
of
the
kingdom,
and
doesn't
understand
it,
the
evil
one
comes,
and
snatches
away
that
which
has
been
sown
in
his
heart.
This
is
what
was
sown
by
the
roadside.
20
What
was
sown
on
the
rocky
places,
this
is
he
who
hears
the
word,
and
immediately
with
joy
receives
it;
21
yet
he
has
no
root
in
himself,
but
endures
for
a
while.
When
oppression
or
persecution
arises
because
of
the
word,
immediately
he
stumbles.
22
What
was
sown
among
the
thorns,
this
is
he
who
hears
the
word,
but
the
cares
of
this
world
and
the
deceitfulness
of
riches
choke
the
word,
and
he
becomes
unfruitful.
23
What
was
sown
on
the
good
ground,
this
is
he
who
hears
the
word,
and
understands
it,
who
most
assuredly
bears
fruit,
and
brings
forth,
some
one
hundred
times
as
much,
some
sixty,
and
some
thirty."
24
He
set
another
parable
before
them,
saying,
"The
Kingdom
of
Heaven
is
like
a
man
who
sowed
good
seed
in
his
field,
25
but
while
people
slept,
his
enemy
came
and
sowed
darnel
also
among
the
wheat,
and
went
away.
26
But
when
the
blade
sprang
up
and
brought
forth
fruit,
then
the
darnel
appeared
also.
27
The
servants
of
the
householder
came
and
said
to
him,
'Sir,
didn't
you
sow
good
seed
in
your
field?
Where
did
this
darnel
come
from?'
28
"He
said
to
them,
'An
enemy
has
done
this.'
"The
servants
asked
him,
'Do
you
want
us
to
go
and
gather
them
up?'
29
"But
he
said,
'No,
lest
perhaps
while
you
gather
up
the
darnel,
you
root
up
the
wheat
with
them.
30
Let
both
grow
together
until
the
harvest,
and
in
the
harvest
time
I
will
tell
the
reapers,
"First,
gather
up
the
darnel,
and
bind
them
in
bundles
to
burn
them;
but
gather
the
wheat
into
my
barn."'"
31
He
set
another
parable
before
them,
saying,
"The
Kingdom
of
Heaven
is
like
a
grain
of
mustard
seed,
which
a
man
took,
and
sowed
in
his
field;
32
which
indeed
is
smaller
than
all
seeds.
But
when
it
is
grown,
it
is
greater
than
the
herbs,
and
becomes
a
tree,
so
that
the
birds
of
the
air
come
and
lodge
in
its
branches."
33
He
spoke
another
parable
to
them.
"The
Kingdom
of
Heaven
is
like
yeast,
which
a
woman
took,
and
hid
in
three
measures
of
meal,
until
it
was
all
leavened."
34
Jesus
spoke
all
these
things
in
parables
to
the
multitudes;
and
without
a
parable,
he
didn't
speak
to
them,
35
that
it
might
be
fulfilled
which
was
spoken
through
the
prophet,
saying,
"I
will
open
my
mouth
in
parables;
I
will
utter
things
hidden
from
the
foundation
of
the
world."
36
Then
Jesus
sent
the
multitudes
away,
and
went
into
the
house.
His
disciples
came
to
him,
saying,
"Explain
to
us
the
parable
of
the
darnel
of
the
field."
37
He
answered
them,
"He
who
sows
the
good
seed
is
the
Son
of
Man,
38
the
field
is
the
world;
and
the
good
seed,
these
are
the
children
of
the
kingdom;
and
the
darnel
are
the
children
of
the
evil
one.
39
The
enemy
who
sowed
them
is
the
devil.
The
harvest
is
the
end
of
the
age,
and
the
reapers
are
angels.
40
As
therefore
the
darnel
is
gathered
up
and
burned
with
fire;
so
will
it
be
at
the
end
of
this
age.
41
The
Son
of
Man
will
send
out
his
angels,
and
they
will
gather
out
of
his
kingdom
all
things
that
cause
stumbling,
and
those
who
do
iniquity,
42
and
will
cast
them
into
the
furnace
of
fire.
There
will
be
weeping
and
the
gnashing
of
teeth.
43
Then
the
righteous
will
shine
forth
like
the
sun
in
the
kingdom
of
their
Father.
He
who
has
ears
to
hear,
let
him
hear.
44
"Again,
the
Kingdom
of
Heaven
is
like
a
treasure
hidden
in
the
field,
which
a
man
found,
and
hid.
In
his
joy,
he
goes
and
sells
all
that
he
has,
and
buys
that
field.
45
"Again,
the
Kingdom
of
Heaven
is
like
a
man
who
is
a
merchant
seeking
fine
pearls,
46
who
having
found
one
pearl
of
great
price,
he
went
and
sold
all
that
he
had,
and
bought
it.
47
"Again,
the
Kingdom
of
Heaven
is
like
a
dragnet,
that
was
cast
into
the
sea,
and
gathered
some
fish
of
every
kind,
48
which,
when
it
was
filled,
they
drew
up
on
the
beach.
They
sat
down,
and
gathered
the
good
into
containers,
but
the
bad
they
threw
away.
49
So
will
it
be
in
the
end
of
the
world.
The
angels
will
come
forth,
and
separate
the
wicked
from
among
the
righteous,
50
and
will
cast
them
into
the
furnace
of
fire.
There
will
be
the
weeping
and
the
gnashing
of
teeth."
51
Jesus
said
to
them,
"Have
you
understood
all
these
things?"
They
answered
him,
"Yes,
Lord."
52
He
said
to
them,
"Therefore,
every
scribe
who
has
been
made
a
disciple
in
the
Kingdom
of
Heaven
is
like
a
man
who
is
a
householder,
who
brings
out
of
his
treasure
new
and
old
things."
53
It
happened
that
when
Jesus
had
finished
these
parables,
he
departed
from
there.
54
Coming
into
his
own
country,
he
taught
them
in
their
synagogue,
so
that
they
were
astonished,
and
said,
"Where
did
this
man
get
this
wisdom,
and
these
mighty
works?
55
Isn't
this
the
carpenter's
son?
Isn't
his
mother
called
Mary,
and
his
brothers,
James,
Joses,
Simon,
and
Judas?
56
Aren't
all
of
his
sisters
with
us?
Where
then
did
this
man
get
all
of
these
things?"
57
They
were
offended
by
him.
But
Jesus
said
to
them,
"A
prophet
is
not
without
honor,
except
in
his
own
country,
and
in
his
own
house."
58
He
didn't
do
many
mighty
works
there
because
of
their
unbelief.
John 3:17
17
For
God
didn't
send
his
Son
into
the
world
to
judge
the
world,
but
that
the
world
should
be
saved
through
him.
John 5:27
27
He
also
gave
him
authority
to
execute
judgment,
because
he
is
a
son
of
man.
John 12:47
47
If
anyone
listens
to
my
sayings,
and
doesn't
believe,
I
don't
judge
him.
For
I
came
not
to
judge
the
world,
but
to
save
the
world.

sixty,
some
thirty.
9
He
that
hath
ears,
let
him
hear.
10
And
the
disciples
came,
and
said
unto
him,
Why
speakest
thou
unto
them
in
parables?
11
And
he
answered
and
said
unto
them,
Unto
you
it
is
given
to
know
the
mysteries
of
the
kingdom
of
heaven,
but
to
them
it
is
not
given.
12
For
whosoever
hath,
to
him
shall
be
given,
and
he
shall
have
abundance:
but
whosoever
hath
not,
from
him
shall
be
taken
away
even
that
which
he
hath.
13
Therefore
speak
I
to
them
in
parables;
because
seeing
they
see
not,
and
hearing
they
hear
not,
neither
do
they
understand.
14
And
unto
them
is
fulfilled
the
prophecy
of
Isaiah,
which
saith,
By
hearing
ye
shall
hear,
and
shall
in
no
wise
understand;
And
seeing
ye
shall
see,
and
shall
in
no
wise
perceive:
15
For
this
people-s
heart
is
waxed
gross,
And
their
ears
are
dull
of
hearing,
And
their
eyes
they
have
closed;
Lest
haply
they
should
perceive
with
their
eyes,
And
hear
with
their
ears,
And
understand
with
their
heart,
And
should
turn
again,
And
I
should
heal
them.
16
But
blessed
are
your
eyes,
for
they
see;
and
your
ears,
for
they
hear.
17
For
verily
I
say
unto
you,
that
many
prophets
and
righteous
men
desired
to
see
the
things
which
ye
see,
and
saw
them
not;
and
to
hear
the
things
which
ye
hear,
and
heard
them
not.
18
Hear
then
ye
the
parable
of
the
sower.
19
When
any
one
heareth
the
word
of
the
kingdom,
and
understandeth
it
not,
{cf15i
then}
cometh
the
evil
{cf15i
one},
and
snatcheth
away
that
which
hath
been
sown
in
his
heart.
This
is
he
that
was
sown
by
the
way
side.
20
And
he
that
was
sown
upon
the
rocky
places,
this
is
he
that
heareth
the
word,
and
straightway
with
joy
receiveth
it;
21
yet
hath
he
not
root
in
himself,
but
endureth
for
a
while;
and
when
tribulation
or
persecution
ariseth
because
of
the
word,
straightway
he
stumbleth.
22
And
he
that
was
sown
among
the
thorns,
this
is
he
that
heareth
the
word;
and
the
care
of
the
world,
and
the
deceitfulness
of
riches,
choke
the
word,
and
he
becometh
unfruitful.
23
And
he
that
was
sown
upon
the
good
ground,
this
is
he
that
heareth
the
word,
and
understandeth
it;
who
verily
beareth
fruit,
and
bringeth
forth,
some
a
hundredfold,
some
sixty,
some
thirty.
24
Another
parable
set
he
before
them,
saying,
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
likened
unto
a
man
that
sowed
good
seed
in
his
field:
25
but
while
men
slept,
his
enemy
came
and
sowed
tares
also
among
the
wheat,
and
went
away.
26
But
when
the
blade
sprang
up,
and
brought
forth
fruit,
then
appeared
the
tares
also.
27
And
the
servants
of
the
householder
came
and
said
unto
him,
Sir,
didst
thou
not
sow
good
seed
in
thy
field?
whence
then
hath
it
tares?
28
And
he
said
unto
them,
An
enemy
hath
done
this.
And
the
servants
say
unto
him,
Wilt
thou
then
that
we
go
and
gather
them
up?
29
But
he
saith,
Nay;
lest
haply
while
ye
gather
up
the
tares,
ye
root
up
the
wheat
with
them.
30
Let
both
grow
together
until
the
harvest:
and
in
the
time
of
the
harvest
I
will
say
to
the
reapers,
Gather
up
first
the
tares,
and
bind
them
in
bundles
to
burn
them:
but
gather
the
wheat
into
my
barn.
31
Another
parable
set
he
before
them,
saying,
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
grain
of
mustard
seed,
which
a
man
took,
and
sowed
in
his
field:
32
which
indeed
is
less
than
all
seeds;
but
when
it
is
grown,
it
is
greater
than
the
herbs,
and
becometh
a
tree,
so
that
the
birds
of
the
heaven
come
and
lodge
in
the
branches
thereof.
33
Another
parable
spake
he
unto
them;
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
leaven,
which
a
woman
took,
and
hid
in
three
measures
of
meal,
till
it
was
all
leavened.
34
All
these
things
spake
Jesus
in
parables
unto
the
multitudes;
and
without
a
parable
spake
he
nothing
unto
them:
35
that
it
might
be
fulfilled
which
was
spoken
by
the
prophet,
saying,
I
will
open
my
mouth
in
parables;
I
will
utter
things
hidden
from
the
foundation
of
the
world.
36
Then
he
left
the
multitudes,
and
went
into
the
house:
and
his
disciples
came
unto
him,
saying,
Explain
unto
us
the
parable
of
the
tares
of
the
field.
37
And
he
answered
and
said,
He
that
soweth
the
good
seed
is
the
Son
of
man;
38
and
the
field
is
the
world;
and
the
good
seed,
these
are
the
sons
of
the
kingdom;
and
the
tares
are
the
sons
of
the
evil
{cf15i
one};
39
and
the
enemy
that
sowed
them
is
the
devil:
and
the
harvest
is
the
end
of
the
world;
and
the
reapers
are
angels.
40
As
therefore
the
tares
are
gathered
up
and
burned
with
fire;
so
shall
it
be
in
the
end
of
the
world.
41
The
Son
of
man
shall
send
forth
his
angels,
and
they
shall
gather
out
of
his
kingdom
all
things
that
cause
stumbling,
and
them
that
do
iniquity,
42
and
shall
cast
them
into
the
furnace
of
fire:
there
shall
be
the
weeping
and
gnashing
of
teeth.
43
Then
shall
the
righteous
shine
forth
as
the
sun
in
the
kingdom
of
their
Father.
He
that
hath
ears,
let
him
hear.
44
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
treasure
hidden
in
the
field;
which
a
man
found,
and
hid;
and
in
his
joy
he
goeth
and
selleth
all
that
he
hath,
and
buyeth
that
field.
45
Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
man
that
is
a
merchant
seeking
goodly
pearls:
46
and
having
found
one
pearl
of
great
price,
he
went
and
sold
all
that
he
had,
and
bought
it.
47
Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
net,
that
was
cast
into
the
sea,
and
gathered
of
every
kind:
48
which,
when
it
was
filled,
they
drew
up
on
the
beach;
and
they
sat
down,
and
gathered
the
good
into
vessels,
but
the
bad
they
cast
away.
49
So
shall
it
be
in
the
end
of
the
world:
the
angels
shall
come
forth,
and
sever
the
wicked
from
among
the
righteous,
50
and
shall
cast
them
into
the
furnace
of
fire:
there
shall
be
the
weeping
and
gnashing
of
teeth.
51
Have
ye
understood
all
these
things?
They
say
unto
him,
Yea.
52
And
he
said
unto
them,
Therefore
every
scribe
who
hath
been
made
a
disciple
to
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
man
that
is
a
householder,
which
bringeth
forth
out
of
his
treasure
things
new
and
old.
53
And
it
came
to
pass,
when
Jesus
had
finished
these
parables,
he
departed
thence.
54
And
coming
into
his
own
country
he
taught
them
in
their
synagogue,
insomuch
that
they
were
astonished,
and
said,
Whence
hath
this
man
this
wisdom,
and
these
mighty
works?
55
Is
not
this
the
carpenter-s
son?
is
not
his
mother
called
Mary?
and
his
brethren,
James,
and
Joseph,
and
Simon,
and
Judas?
56
And
his
sisters,
are
they
not
all
with
us?
Whence
then
hath
this
man
all
these
things?
57
And
they
were
offended
in
him.
But
Jesus
said
unto
them,
A
prophet
is
not
without
honour,
save
in
his
own
country,
and
in
his
own
house.
58
And
he
did
not
many
mighty
works
there
because
of
their
unbelief.
John 3:17
17
For
God
sent
not
the
Son
into
the
world
to
judge
the
world;
but
that
the
world
should
be
saved
through
him.
John 5:27
27
and
he
gave
him
authority
to
execute
judgment,
because
he
is
the
Son
of
man.
John 12:47
47
And
if
any
man
hear
my
sayings,
and
keep
them
not,
I
judge
him
not:
for
I
came
not
to
judge
the
world,
but
to
save
the
world.

1
The
same
day
went
Jesus
out
of
the
house,
and
sat
by
the
sea
side.
2
And
great
multitudes
were
gathered
together
to
him,
so
that
he
went
into
a
ship,
and
sat;
and
the
whole
multitude
stood
on
the
shore.
3
And
he
spoke
many
things
to
them
in
parables,
saying,
Behold,
a
sower
went
forth
to
sow;
4
And
when
he
sowed,
some
seeds
fell
by
the
way
side,
and
the
fowls
came
and
devoured
them
up:
5
Some
fell
on
stony
places,
where
they
had
not
much
earth:
and
immediately
they
sprung
up,
because
they
had
no
deepness
of
earth:
6
And
when
the
sun
was
up,
they
were
scorched;
and
because
they
had
no
root,
they
withered
away.
7
And
some
fell
among
thorns;
and
the
thorns
sprung
up,
and
choked
them:
8
But
other
fell
into
good
ground,
and
brought
forth
fruit,
some
an
hundred
times,
some
sixty
times,
some
thirty
times.
9
Who
has
ears
to
hear,
let
him
hear.
10
And
the
disciples
came,
and
said
to
him,
Why
speak
you
to
them
in
parables?
11
He
answered
and
said
to
them,
Because
it
is
given
to
you
to
know
the
mysteries
of
the

of
heaven,
but
to
them
it
is
not
given.
12
For
whoever
has,
to
him
shall
be
given,
and
he
shall
have
more
abundance:
but
whoever
has
not,
from
him
shall
be
taken
away
even
that
he
has.
13
Therefore
speak
I
to
them
in
parables:
because
they
seeing
see
not;
and
hearing
they
hear
not,
neither
do
they
understand.
14
And
in
them
is
fulfilled
the
prophecy
of
Esaias,
which
said,
By
hearing
you
shall
hear,
and
shall
not
understand;
and
seeing
you
shall
see,
and
shall
not
perceive:
15
For

are
dull

be
converted,
and
I
should
heal
them.
16
But
blessed
are
your
eyes,
for
they
see:
and
your
ears,
for
they
hear.
17
For
truly
I
say
to
you,
That
many
prophets
and
righteous
men
have
desired
to
see
those
things
which
you
see,
and
have
not
seen
them;
and
to
hear
those
things
which
you
hear,
and
have
not
heard
them.
18
Hear
you
therefore
the
parable
of
the
sower.
19
When
any
one
hears
the
word
of
the
kingdom,
and
understands
it
not,
then
comes
the
wicked
one,
and
catches
away
that
which
was
sown
in
his
heart.
This
is
he
which
received
seed
by
the
way
side.
20
But
he
that
received
the
seed
into
stony
places,
the
same
is
he
that
hears
the
word,
and
immediately
with
joy
receives
it;
21
Yet
has
he
not
root
in
himself,
but
endures
for
a
while:
for
when
tribulation
or
persecution
rises
because
of
the
word,
by
and
by
he
is
offended.
22
He
also
that
received
seed
among
the
thorns
is
he
that
hears
the
word;
and
the
care
of
this
world,
and
the
deceitfulness
of
riches,
choke
the
word,
and
he
becomes
unfruitful.
23
But
he
that
received
seed
into
the
good
ground
is
he
that
hears
the
word,
and
understands
it;
which
also
bears
fruit,
and
brings
forth,
some
an
hundred
times,
some
sixty,
some
thirty.
24
Another
parable
put
he
forth
to
them,
saying,
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
likened
to
a
man
which
sowed
good
seed
in
his
field:
25
But
while
men
slept,
his
enemy
came
and
sowed
tares
among
the
wheat,
and
went
his
way.
26
But
when
the
blade
was
sprung
up,
and
brought
forth
fruit,
then
appeared
the
tares
also.
27
So
the
servants
of
the
householder
came
and
said
to
him,
Sir,
did
not
you
sow
good
seed
in
your
field?
from
where
then
has
it
tares?
28
He
said
to
them,
An
enemy
has
done
this.
The
servants
said
to
him,
Will
you
then
that
we
go
and
gather
them
up?
29
But
he
said,
No;
lest
while
you
gather
up
the
tares,
you
root
up
also
the
wheat
with
them.
30
Let
both
grow
together
until
the
harvest:
and
in
the
time
of
harvest
I
will
say
to
the
reapers,
Gather
you
together
first
the
tares,
and
bind
them
in
bundles
to
burn
them:
but
gather
the
wheat
into
my
barn.
31
Another
parable
put
he
forth
to
them,
saying,
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
to
a
grain
of
mustard
seed,
which
a
man
took,
and
sowed
in
his
field:
32
Which
indeed
is
the
least
of
all
seeds:
but
when
it
is
grown,
it
is
the
greatest
among
herbs,
and
becomes
a
tree,
so
that
the
birds
of
the
air
come
and
lodge
in
the
branches
thereof.
33
Another
parable
spoke
he
to
them;
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
to
leaven,
which
a
woman
took,
and
hid
in
three
measures
of
meal,
till
the
whole
was
leavened.
34
All
these
things
spoke
Jesus
to
the
multitude
in
parables;
and
without
a
parable
spoke
he
not
to
them:
35
That
it
might
be
fulfilled
which
was
spoken
by
the
prophet,
saying,
I
will
open
my
mouth
in
parables;
I
will
utter
things
which
have
been
kept
secret
from
the
foundation
of
the
world.
36
Then
Jesus
sent
the
multitude
away,
and
went
into
the
house:
and
his
disciples
came
to
him,
saying,
Declare
to
us
the
parable
of
the
tares
of
the
field.
37
He
answered
and
said
to
them,
He
that
sows
the
good
seed
is
the
Son
of
man;
38
The
field
is
the
world;
the
good
seed
are
the
children
of
the
kingdom;
but
the
tares
are
the
children
of
the
wicked
one;
39
The
enemy
that
sowed
them
is
the
devil;
the
harvest
is
the
end
of
the
world;
and
the
reapers
are
the
angels.
40
As
therefore
the
tares
are
gathered
and
burned
in
the
fire;
so
shall
it
be
in
the
end
of
this
world.
41
The
Son
of
man
shall
send
forth
his
angels,
and
they
shall
gather
out
of
his
kingdom
all
things
that
offend,
and
them
which
do
iniquity;
42
And
shall
cast
them
into
a
furnace
of
fire:
there
shall
be
wailing
and
gnashing
of
teeth.
43
Then
shall
the
righteous
shine
forth
as
the
sun
in
the
kingdom
of
their
Father.
Who
has
ears
to
hear,
let
him
hear.
44
Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
to
treasure
hid
in
a
field;
the
which
when
a
man
has
found,
he
hides,
and
for
joy
thereof
goes
and
sells
all
that
he
has,
and
buys
that
field.
45
Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
to
a
merchant
man,
seeking
goodly
pearls:
46
Who,
when
he
had
found
one
pearl
of
great
price,
went
and
sold
all
that
he
had,
and
bought
it.
47
Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
to
a
net,
that
was
cast
into
the
sea,
and
gathered
of
every
kind:
48
Which,
when
it
was
full,
they
drew
to
shore,
and
sat
down,
and
gathered
the
good
into
vessels,
but
cast
the
bad
away.
49
So
shall
it
be
at
the
end
of
the
world:
the
angels
shall
come
forth,
and
sever
the
wicked
from
among
the
just,
50
And
shall
cast
them
into
the
furnace
of
fire:
there
shall
be
wailing
and
gnashing
of
teeth.
51
Jesus
said
to
them,
Have
you
understood
all
these
things?
They
say
to
him,
Yes,
Lord.
52
Then
said
he
to
them,
Therefore
every
scribe
which
is
instructed
to
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
to
a
man
that
is
an
householder,
which
brings
forth
out
of
his
treasure
things
new
and
old.
53
And
it
came
to
pass,
that
when
Jesus
had
finished
these
parables,
he
departed
there.
54
And
when
he
was
come
into
his
own
country,
he
taught
them
in
their
synagogue,
so
that
they
were
astonished,
and
said,
From
where
has
this
man
this
wisdom,
and
these
mighty
works?
55
Is
not
this
the
carpenter's
son?
is
not
his
mother
called
Mary?
and
his
brothers,
James,
and
Joses,
and
Simon,
and
Judas?
56
And
his
sisters,
are
they
not
all
with
us?
From
where
then
has
this
man
all
these
things?
57
And
they
were
offended
in
him.
But
Jesus
said
to
them,
A
prophet
is
not
without
honor,
save
in
his
own
country,
and
in
his
own
house.
58
And
he
did
not
many
mighty
works
there
because
of
their
unbelief.
John 3:17
17
For
God
sent
not
his
Son
into
the
world
to
condemn
the
world;
but
that
the
world
through
him
might
be
saved.
John 5:27
27
And
has
given
him
authority
to
execute
judgment
also,
because
he
is
the
Son
of
man.
John 12:47
47
And
if
any
man
hear
my
words,
and
believe
not,
I
judge
him
not:
for
I
came
not
to
judge
the
world,
but
to
save
the
world.

1
On
that
day
after
Jesus
went
out
of
the
house,
he
sat
by
the
lake.
2
And
such
a
large
crowd
gathered
around
him
that
he
got
into
a
boat
to
sit
while
the
whole
crowd
stood
on
the
shore.
3
He
told
them
many
things
in
parables,
saying:
"Listen!
A
sower
went
out
to
sow.
4
And
as
he
sowed,
some
seeds
fell
along
the
path,
and
the
birds
came
and
devoured
them.
5
Other
seeds
fell
on
rocky
ground
where
they
did
not
have
much
soil.
They
sprang
up
quickly
because
the
soil
was
not
deep.
6
But
when
the
sun
came
up,
they
were
scorched,
and
because
they
did
not
have
sufficient
root,
they
withered.
7
Other
seeds
fell
among
the
thorns,
and
they
grew
up
and
choked
them.
8
But
other
seeds
fell
on
good
soil
and
produced
grain,
some
a
hundred
times
as
much,
some
sixty,
and
some
thirty.
9
The
one
who
has
ears
had
better
listen!"
10
Then
the
disciples
came
to
him
and
said,
"Why
do
you
speak
to
them
in
parables?"
11
He
replied,
"You
have
been
given
the
opportunity
to
know
the
secrets
of
the
kingdom
of
heaven,
but
they
have
not.
12
For
whoever
has
will
be
given
more,
and
will
have
an
abundance.
But
whoever
does
not
have,
even
what
he
has
will
be
taken
from
him.
13
For
this
reason
I
speak
to
them
in
parables:
Although
they
see
they
do
not
see,
and
although
they
hear
they
do
not
hear
nor
do
they
understand.
14
And
concerning
them
the
prophecy
of
Isaiah
is
fulfilled
that
says:
'You
will
listen
carefully
yet
will
never
understand,
you
will
look
closely
yet
will
never
comprehend.
15
For
the
heart
of
this
people
has
become
dull;
they
are
hard
of
hearing,
and
they
have
shut
their
eyes,
so
that
they
would
not
see
with
their
eyes
and
hear
with
their
ears
and
understand
with
their
hearts
and
turn,
and
I
would
heal
them.'
16
"But
your
eyes
are
blessed
because
they
see,
and
your
ears
because
they
hear.
17
For
I
tell
you
the
truth,
many
prophets
and
righteous
people
longed
to
see
what
you
see
but
did
not
see
it,
and
to
hear
what
you
hear
but
did
not
hear
it.
18
"So
listen
to
the
parable
of
the
sower:
19
When
anyone
hears
the
word
about
the
kingdom
and
does
not
understand
it,
the
evil
one
comes
and
snatches
what
was
sown
in
his
heart;
this
is
the
seed
sown
along
the
path.
20
The
seed
sown
on
rocky
ground
is
the
person
who
hears
the
word
and
immediately
receives
it
with
joy.
21
But
he
has
no
root
in
himself
and
does
not
endure;
when
trouble
or
persecution
comes
because
of
the
word,
immediately
he
falls
away.
22
The
seed
sown
among
thorns
is
the
person
who
hears
the
word,
but
worldly
cares
and
the
seductiveness
of
wealth
choke
the
word,
so
it
produces
nothing.
23
But
as
for
the
seed
sown
on
good
soil,
this
is
the
person
who
hears
the
word
and
understands.
He
bears
fruit,
yielding
a
hundred,
sixty,
or
thirty
times
what
was
sown."
24
He
presented
them
with
another
parable:
"The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
person
who
sowed
good
seed
in
his
field.
25
But
while
everyone
was
sleeping,
an
enemy
came
and
sowed
weeds
among
the
wheat
and
went
away.
26
When
the
plants
sprouted
and
bore
grain,
then
the
weeds
also
appeared.
27
So
the
slaves
of
the
owner
came
and
said
to
him,
'Sir,
didn't
you
sow
good
seed
in
your
field?
Then
where
did
the
weeds
come
from?'
28
He
said,
'An
enemy
has
done
this.'
So
the
slaves
replied,
'Do
you
want
us
to
go
and
gather
them?'
29
But
he
said,
'No,
since
in
gathering
the
weeds
you
may
uproot
the
wheat
with
them.
30
Let
both
grow
together
until
the
harvest.
At
harvest
time
I
will
tell
the
reapers,
"First
collect
the
weeds
and
tie
them
in
bundles
to
be
burned,
but
then
gather
the
wheat
into
my
barn."'"
31
He
gave
them
another
parable:
"The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
mustard
seed
that
a
man
took
and
sowed
in
his
field.
32
It
is
the
smallest
of
all
the
seeds,
but
when
it
has
grown
it
is
the
greatest
garden
plant
and
becomes
a
tree,
so
that
the
wild
birds
come
and
nest
in
its
branches."
33
He
told
them
another
parable:
"The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
yeast
that
a
woman
took
and
mixed
with
three
measures
of
flour
until
all
the
dough
had
risen."
34
Jesus
spoke
all
these
things
in
parables
to
the
crowds;
he
did
not
speak
to
them
without
a
parable.
35
This
fulfilled
what
was
spoken
by
the
prophet:
"I
will
open
my
mouth
in
parables,
I
will
announce
what
has
been
hidden
from
the
foundation
of
the
world."
36
Then
he
left
the
crowds
and
went
into
the
house.
And
his
disciples
came
to
him
saying,
"Explain
to
us
the
parable
of
the
weeds
in
the
field."
37
He
answered,
"The
one
who
sowed
the
good
seed
is
the
Son
of
Man.
38
The
field
is
the
world
and
the
good
seed
are
the
people
of
the
kingdom.
The
weeds
are
the
people
of
the
evil
one,
39
and
the
enemy
who
sows
them
is
the
devil.
The
harvest
is
the
end
of
the
age,
and
the
reapers
are
angels.
40
As
the
weeds
are
collected
and
burned
with
fire,
so
it
will
be
at
the
end
of
the
age.
41
The
Son
of
Man
will
send
his
angels,
and
they
will
gather
from
his
kingdom
everything
that
causes
sin
as
well
as
all
lawbreakers.
42
They
will
throw
them
into
the
fiery
furnace,
where
there
will
be
weeping
and
gnashing
of
teeth.
43
Then
the
righteous
will
shine
like
the
sun
in
the
kingdom
of
their
Father.
The
one
who
has
ears
had
better
listen!
44
"The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
treasure,
hidden
in
a
field,
that
a
person
found
and
hid.
Then
because
of
joy
he
went
and
sold
all
that
he
had
and
bought
that
field.
45
"Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
merchant
searching
for
fine
pearls.
46
When
he
found
a
pearl
of
great
value,
he
went
out
and
sold
everything
he
had
and
bought
it.
47
"Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
net
that
was
cast
into
the
sea
that
caught
all
kinds
of
fish.
48
When
it
was
full,
they
pulled
it
ashore,
sat
down,
and
put
the
good
fish
into
containers
and
threw
the
bad
away.
49
It
will
be
this
way
at
the
end
of
the
age.
Angels
will
come
and
separate
the
evil
from
the
righteous
50
and
throw
them
into
the
fiery
furnace,
where
there
will
be
weeping
and
gnashing
of
teeth.
51
"Have
you
understood
all
these
things?"
They
replied,
"Yes."
52
Then
he
said
to
them,
"Therefore
every
expert
in
the
law
who
has
been
trained
for
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
the
owner
of
a
house
who
brings
out
of
his
treasure
what
is
new
and
old."
53
Now
when
Jesus
finished
these
parables,
he
moved
on
from
there.
54
Then
he
came
to
his
hometown
and
began
to
teach
the
people
in
their
synagogue.
They
were
astonished
and
said,
"Where
did
this
man
get
such
wisdom
and
miraculous
powers?
55
Isn't
this
the
carpenter's
son?
Isn't
his
mother
named
Mary?
And
aren't
his
brothers
James,
Joseph,
Simon,
and
Judas?
56
And
aren't
all
his
sisters
here
with
us?
Where
did
he
get
all
this?"
57
And
so
they
took
offense
at
him.
But
Jesus
said
to
them,
"A
prophet
is
not
without
honor
except
in
his
hometown
and
in
his
own
house."
58
And
he
did
not
do
many
miracles
there
because
of
their
unbelief.
John 3:17
17
For
God
did
not
send
his
Son
into
the
world
to
condemn
the
world,
but
that
the
world
should
be
saved
through
him.
John 5:27
27
and
he
has
granted
the
Son
authority
to
execute
judgment,
because
he
is
the
Son
of
Man.
John 12:47
47
If
anyone
hears
my
words
and
does
not
obey
them,
I
do
not
judge
him.
For
I
have
not
come
to
judge
the
world,
but
to
save
the
world.

That
same
day
Jesus
went
out

and
sat
by

2
A
large

gathered
around
him.
So
he
got
into
a

All
the
people

3
Then
Jesus
used
stories
to
teach
them
many
things.
He
told
them
this
story:
"A
farmer
went
out
to
sow
seed.
4
While
he
was
scattering
the
seed,
some
of
it
fell
by
the
road.
The
birds
came
and
ate
all
that
seed.
5
Other
seed
fell
on
rocky
ground,
where
there
was
not
enough
dirt.
It
grew
very
fast
there,
because
the
soil
was
not

6
But
when
the
sun
rose,
it
burned
the
plants.
The
plants
died
because
they
did
not
have
deep
roots.
7
Some
other
seed
fell
among
thorny
weeds.
The
weeds
grew
and
stopped
the
good
plants
from
growing.
8
But
some
of
the
seed
fell
on
good
ground.
There
it
grew
and
made
grain.
Some
plants
made
100
times
more
grain,
some
60
times
more,
and
some
30
times
more.
9
You
people
who
hear
me,
listen!"
10
The
followers
came
to
Jesus
and
asked,
"Why
do
you
use
these
stories
to
teach
the
people?"
11
Jesus
answered,
"Only
you
can
know
the
secret
truths
about
God's
kingdom.
Those
other
people
cannot
know
these
secret
truths.
12
The
people
who
have
some
understanding
will
be
given
more.
And
they
will
have
even
more
than
they
need.
But
those
who
do
not
have
much
understanding
will
lose
even
the
little
understanding
that
they
have.
13
This
is
why
I
use
these
stories
to
teach
the
people:
They
see,
but
they
don't
really
see.
They
hear,
but
they
don't
really
hear
or
understand.
14
So
they
show
that
what
Isaiah
said
about
them
is
true:
'You
people
will
listen
and
listen,
but
you
will
not
understand.
You
will
look
and
look,
but
you
will
not
really
see.
15
Yes,
the
minds
of
these
people
are
now
closed.
They
have
ears,
but
they
don't
listen.
They
have
eyes,
but
they
refuse
to
see.
If
their
minds
were
not
closed,
they
might
see
with
their
eyes;
they
might
hear
with
their
ears;
they
might
understand
with
their
minds.
Then
they
might
turn
back
to
me
and
be
healed.'
16
But
God
has
blessed
you.
You
understand
what
you
see
with
your
eyes.
And
you
understand
what
you
hear
with
your
ears.
17
I
can
assure
you,
many
prophets
and
godly
people
wanted
to
see
what
you
now
see.
But
they
did
not
see
it.
And
many
prophets
and
godly
people
wanted
to
hear
what
you
now
hear.
But
they
did
not
hear
it.
18
"So
listen
to
the
meaning
of
that
story
about
the
farmer:
19
"What
about
the
seed
that
fell
by
the
path?
That
is
like
the
people
who
hear
the
teaching
about
God's
kingdom
but
do
not
understand
it.
The
Evil
One
comes
and
takes
away
what
was

what
about
the
seed
that
fell
on

lives.
They
keep
it
only
a
short
time.
As
soon
as
trouble
or
persecution
comes
because
of
the
teaching
they
accepted,
they
give
up.
22
"And
what
about
the
seed
that
fell
among
the
thorny
weeds?
That
is
like
the
people
who
hear
the
teaching
but
let
worries
about
this
life
and
love
for
money
stop
it
from
growing.
So
it
does
not
produce
a
crop
in
their
lives.
23
"But
what
about
the
seed
that
fell
on
the
good
ground?
That
is
like
the
people
who
hear
the
teaching
and
understand
it.
They
grow
and
produce
a
good
crop,
sometimes
100
times
more,
sometimes
60
times
more,
and
sometimes
30
times
more."
24
Then
Jesus
used
another
story
to
teach
them.
Jesus
said,
"God's
kingdom
is
like
a
man
who
planted
good
seed
in
his
field.
25
That
night,
while
everyone
was
asleep,
the
man's
enemy
came
and
planted
weeds
among
the
wheat
and
then
left.
26
Later,
the
wheat
grew,
and
heads
of
grain
grew
on
the
plants.
But
at
the
same
time
the
weeds
also
grew.
27
Then
the
man's
servants
came
to
him
and
said,
'You
planted
good
seed
in
your
field.
Where
did
the
weeds
come
from?'
28
"The
man
answered,
'An
enemy
planted
weeds.'
"The
servants
asked,
'Do
you
want
us
to
go
and
pull
up
the
weeds?'
29
"He
answered,
'No,
because
when
you
pull
up
the
weeds,
you
might
also
pull
up
the
wheat.
30
Let
the
weeds
and
the
wheat
grow
together
until
the
harvest
time.
At
the
harvest
time
I
will
tell
the
workers
this:
First,
gather
the
weeds
and
tie
them
together
to
be
burned.
Then
gather
the
wheat
and
bring
it
to
my
barn.'"
31
Then
Jesus
told
the
people
another
story:
"God's
kingdom
is
like
a
mustard
seed
that
a
man
plants
in
his
field.
32
It
is
one
of
the
smallest
of
all
seeds.
But
when
it
grows,
it
is
one
of
the
largest
garden
plants.
It
becomes
a
tree
big
enough
for
the
birds
to
come
and
make
nests
in
its
branches."
33
Then
Jesus
told
them
another
story:
"God's
kingdom
is
like
yeast
that
a
woman
mixes
into
a
big
bowl
of
flour
to
make
bread.
The
yeast
makes
all
the
dough
rise."
34
Jesus
used
stories
to
tell
all
these
things
to
the
people.
He
always
used
stories
to
teach
them.
35
This
was
to
make
clear
the
full
meaning
of
what
the
prophet
said,
"I
will
speak
using
stories;
I
will
tell
things
that
have
been
secrets
since
the
world
was
made."
36
Then
Jesus
left
the
people
and
went
into
the
house.
His
followers
came
to
him
and
said,
"Explain
to
us
the
meaning
of
the
story
about
the
weeds
in
the
field."
37
He
answered,
"The
man
who
planted
the
good
seed
in
the
field
is
the
Son
of
Man.
38
The
field
is
the
world.
The
good
seed
are
the
people
in
God's
kingdom.
The
weeds
are
the
people
who
belong
to
the
Evil
One.
39
And
the
enemy
who
planted
the
bad
seed
is
the
devil.
The
harvest
is
the
end
of
time.
And
the
workers
who
gather
are
God's
angels.
40
"The
weeds
are
pulled
up
and
burned
in
the
fire.
It
will
be
the
same
at
the
end
of
time.
41
The
Son
of
Man
will
send
his
angels,
and
they
will
find
the
people
who
cause
sin
and
all
those
who
do
evil.
The
angels
will
take
those
people
out
of
his
kingdom.
42
They
will
throw
them
into
the
place
of
fire.
There
the
people
will
be
crying
and
grinding
their
teeth
with
pain.
43
Then
the
godly
people
will
shine
like
the
sun.
They
will
be
in
the
kingdom
of
their
Father.
You
people
who
hear
me,
listen!
44
"God's
kingdom
is
like
a
treasure
hidden
in
a
field.
One
day
a
man
found
the
treasure.
He
hid
it
again
and
was
so
happy
that
he
went
and
sold
everything
he
owned
and
bought
the
field.
45
"Also,
God's
kingdom
is
like
a
merchant
looking
for
fine
pearls.
46
One
day
he
found
a
very
fine
pearl.
He
went
and
sold
everything
he
had
to
buy
it.
47
"Also,
God's
kingdom
is
like
a
net
that
was
put
into
the
lake.
The
net
caught
many
different
kinds
of
fish.
48
It
was
full,
so
the
fishermen
pulled
it
to
the
shore.
They
sat
down
and
put
all
the
good
fish
in
baskets.
Then
they
threw
away
the
bad
fish.
49
It
will
be
the
same
at
the
end
of
time.
The
angels
will
come
and
separate
the
evil
people
from
the
godly
people.
50
They
will
throw
the
evil
people
into
the
place
of
fire.
There
the
people
will
cry
and
grind
their
teeth
with
pain."
51
Then
Jesus
asked
his
followers,
"Do
you
understand
all
these
things?"
They
said,
"Yes,
we
understand."
52
Then
Jesus
said
to
the
followers,
"So
every
teacher
of
the
law
who
has
learned
about
God's
kingdom
has
some
new
things
to
teach.
He
is
like
the
owner
of
a
house.
He
has
new
things
and
old
things
saved
in
that
house.
And
he
brings
out
the
new
with
the
old."
53
When
Jesus
finished
teaching
with
these
stories,
he
left
there.
54
He
went
to
the
town
where
he
grew
up.
He
taught
the
people
in
the
synagogue,
and
they
were
amazed.
They
said,
"Where
did
this
man
get
such
wisdom
and
this
power
to
do
miracles?
55
Isn't
he
just
the
son
of
the
carpenter
we
know?
Isn't
his
mother's
name
Mary,
and
aren't
his
brothers
James,
Joseph,
Simon,
and
Judas?
56
And
don't
all
his
sisters
still
live
here
in
town?
How
is
he
able
to
do
these
things?"
57
So
they
had
a
problem
accepting
him.
But
Jesus
said
to
them,
"People
everywhere
give
honor
to
a
prophet,
but
in
his
own
town
or
in
his
own
home
a
prophet
does
not
get
any
honor."
58
Jesus
did
not
do
many
miracles
there,
because
the
people
did
not
believe
in
him.
John 3:17
17
God
sent
his
Son
into
the
world.
He
did
not
send
him
to
judge
the
world
guilty,
but
to
save
the
world
through
him.
John 5:27
27
And
the
Father
has
given
him
the
power
to
judge
all
people
because
he
is
the
Son
of
Man.
John 12:47
47
"I
did
not
come
into
the
world
to
judge
people.
I
came
to
save
the
people
in
the
world.
So
I
am
not
the
one
who
judges
those
who
hear
my
teaching
and
do
not
obey.

Who
Planted
Seeds
3
Jesus
taught
them
many
things
by
using
picture-stories.
He
said,
"A
man
went
out
to
plant
seeds.
4
As
he
planted
the
seeds,
some
fell
by
the
side
of
the
road.
The
birds
came
and
ate
the
seeds.
5
Some
seeds
fell
between
rocks.
The
seeds
came
up
at
once
because
there
was
so
little
ground.
6
When
the
sun
was
high
in
the
sky,
they
dried
up
and
died
because
they
had
no
root.
7
Some
seeds
fell
among
thorns.
The
thorns
grew
and
did
not
give
the
seeds
room
to
grow.
8
Some
seeds
fell
on
good
ground
and
gave
much
grain.
Some
gave
one
hundred
times
as
much
grain.
Some
gave
sixty
times
as
much
grain.
Some
gave
thirty
times
as
much
grain.
9
You
have
ears,
then
listen."
10
The
followers
of
Jesus
came
to
Him
and
said,
"Why
do
You
speak
to
them
in
picture-stories?"
11
He
said
to
the
followers,
"You
were
given
the
secrets
about
the
holy
nation
of
heaven.
The
secrets
were
not
given
to
the
others.
12
He
who
has
will
have
more
given
to
him.
He
will
have
even
more
than
enough.
But
he
who
has
little
will
have
even
that
taken
away
from
him.
13
"This
is
why
I
speak
to
them
in
picture-stories.
They
have
eyes
but
they
do
not
see.
They
have
ears
but
they
do
not
hear
and
they
do
not
understand.
14
It
happened
in
their
lives
as
Isaiah
said
it
would
happen.
He
said,
'You
hear
and
hear
but
do
not
understand.
You
look
and
look
but
do
not
see.
15
The
hearts
of
these
people
have
become
fat.
They
hear
very
little
with
their
ears.
They
have
closed
their
eyes.
If
they
did
not
do
this,
they
would
see
with
their
eyes
and
hear
with
their
ears
and
understand
with
their
hearts.
Then
they
would
be
changed
in
their
ways,
and
I
would
heal
them.'
(Isaiah
6:9-10)
16
But
how
great
are
your
eyes
be-cause
they
see.
How
great
are
your
ears
because
they
hear.
17
For
sure,
I
tell
you,
that
many
early
preachers
and
men
right
with
God
have
wanted
to
see
the
things
you
see,
but
they
did
not
see
them.
They
wanted
to
hear
the
things
you
hear,
but
they
did
not
hear
them.
18
"Listen
to
the
picture-story
of
the
man
who
planted
seeds
in
the
ground.
19
When
anyone
hears
the
Word
about
the
holy
nation
and
does
not
understand
it,
the
devil
comes
and
takes
away
what
was
put
in
his
heart.
He
is
like
the
seed
that
fell
by
the
side
of
the
road.
20
The
seed
which
fell
between
rocks
is
like
the
person
who
receives
the
Word
with
joy
as
soon
as
he
hears
it.
21
Its
root
is
not
deep
and
it
does
not
last
long.
When
troubles
and
suffering
come
because
of
the
Word,
he
gives
up
and
falls
away.
22
The
seed
which
fell
among
thorns
is
like
the
person
who
hears
the
Word
but
the
cares
of
this
life,
and
the
love
for
money
let
the
thorns
come
up
and
do
not
give
the
seed
room
to
grow
and
give
grain.
23
The
seed
which
fell
on
good
ground
is
like
the
one
who
hears
the
Word
and
understands
it.
He
gives
much
grain.
Some
seed
gives
one
hundred
times
as
much
grain.
Some
gives
sixty
times
as
much
grain.
Some
gives
thirty
times
as
much
grain."
24
Jesus
told
them
another
picture-story.
He
said,
"The
holy
nation
of
heaven
is
like
a
man
who
planted
good
seed
in
his
field.
25
During
the
night
someone
who
hated
him
came
and
planted
weed
seed
with
the
good
seed
in
his
field
and
went
away.
26
When
the
good
seed
started
to
grow
and
give
grain,
weeds
came
up
also.
27
"The
servants
of
the
man
who
planted
the
seed
came
and
said
to
him,
'Sir,
did
you
not
plant
good
seed
in
your
field?
Why
does
it
have
weeds
also?'
28
The
man
who
planted
the
seed
said,
'Someone
who
hates
me
has
done
this.'
The
servants
asked
him,
'Should
we
go
and
pull
the
weeds
out
from
among
the
good
grain?'
29
He
said,
'No,
because
if
you
pull
out
the
weeds,
the
good
grain
will
come
up
also.
30
Let
them
grow
together
until
the
time
to
gather
the
grain.
Then
I
will
say
to
the
workmen,
"Gather
the
weeds
first
and
put
them
together
to
be
burned.
Then
gather
the
good
grain
into
my
building."
'
"
31
Jesus
told
them
another
picture-story.
He
said,
"The
holy
nation
of
heaven
is
like
mustard
seed
which
a
man
planted
in
his
field.
32
It
is
the
smallest
of
seeds.
But
when
it
is
fullgrown,
it
is
larger
than
the
grain
of
the
fields
and
it
becomes
a
tree.
The
birds
of
the
sky
come
and
stay
in
its
branches."
33
Jesus
gave
them
another
picture-story.
He
said,
"The
holy
nation
of
heaven
is
like
yeast
that
a
woman
put
into
three
pails
of
flour
until
it
had
become
much
more
than
at
first."
34
Jesus
told
all
these
things
using
picture-stories
to
the
many
people.
He
did
not
speak
to
them
without
using
picture-stories.
35
It
happened
as
the
early
preacher
said
it
would
happen,
"I
will
open
My
mouth
in
picturestories.
I
will
tell
things
which
have
been
kept
secret
from
the
beginning
of
the
world."
(Psalm
78:2)
36
After
Jesus
sent
the
people
away,
He
went
into
the
house.
His
followers
came
to
Him
and
said,
"Tell
us
what
You
mean
by
the
picture-story
of
the
weeds
in
the
field."
37
Jesus
said,
"He
Who
plants
the
good
seed
is
the
Son
of
Man.
38
The
field
is
the
world.
The
good
seeds
are
the
children
of
the
holy
nation.
The
weeds
are
the
children
of
the
devil.
39
The
devil
is
the
one
who
got
in
and
planted
the
weeds.
The
time
to
gather
is
the
end
of
the
world.
The
men
who
gather
are
the
angels.
40
As
the
weeds
are
gathered
together
and
burned
in
the
fire,
so
will
it
be
in
the
end
of
the
world.
41
The
Son
of
Man
will
send
His
angels.
They
will
gather
out
of
His
holy
nation
all
things
that
cause
people
to
sin
and
those
who
do
sin.
42
They
will
put
them
into
a
stove
of
fire.
There
will
be
loud
crying
and
grinding
of
teeth.
43
Then
the
ones
right
with
God
will
shine
as
the
sun
in
the
holy
nation
of
their
Father.
You
have
ears,
then
listen!"
44
"The
holy
nation
of
heaven
is
like
a
box
of
riches
buried
in
a
field.
A
man
found
it
and
then
hid
it
again.
In
his
joy
he
goes
and
sells
all
that
he
has
and
buys
that
field.
45
"Again,
the
holy
nation
of
heaven
is
like
a
man
who
buys
and
sells.
He
is
looking
for
good
pearls.
46
When
he
finds
one
good
pearl
worth
much
money,
he
goes
and
sells
all
that
he
has
and
buys
it.
47
"The
holy
nation
of
heaven
is
like
a
big
net
which
was
let
down
into
the
sea.
It
gathered
fish
of
every
kind.
48
When
it
was
full,
they
took
it
to
the
shore.
They
sat
down
and
put
the
good
fish
into
pails.
They
threw
the
bad
fish
away.
49
It
will
be
like
this
in
the
end
of
the
world.
Angels
will
come
and
take
the
sinful
people
from
among
those
who
are
right
with
God.
50
They
will
put
the
sinful
people
into
a
stove
of
fire
where
there
will
be
loud
crying
and
grinding
of
teeth."
51
Jesus
asked
them,
"Have
you
understood
all
these
picture-stories?"
They
said,
"Yes,
Lord!"
52
He
said
to
them,
"Every
teacher
of
the
Law
who
has
become
a
follower
of
the
holy
nation
of
heaven
is
like
a
man
who
owns
his
house.
He
takes
new
and
old
riches
from
his
house."
53
When
Jesus
had
finished
these
picture-stories,
He
went
away
from
there.
54
He
came
to
His
own
town
and
taught
them
in
their
places
of
worship.
They
were
surprised
and
wondered,
saying,
"Where
did
this
Man
get
this
wisdom?
How
can
He
do
these
powerful
works?
55
Is
not
this
the
son
of
the
man
who
makes
things
from
wood?
Is
not
Mary
His
mother?
Are
not
James
and
Joseph
and
Simon
and
Judas
His
brothers?
56
And
are
not
all
His
sisters
here?
Then
where
did
He
get
all
these
things?"
57
And
they
were
ashamed
of
Him
and
turned
away
because
of
Him.
Jesus
said
to
them,
"One
who
speaks
for
God
is
shown
no
respect
in
his
own
town
and
in
his
own
house."
58
He
did
not
do
many
powerful
works
there
because
they
did
not
put
their
trust
in
Him.
John 3:17
17
For
God
did
not
send
His
Son
into
the
world
to
say
it
is
guilty.
He
sent
His
Son
so
the
world
might
be
saved
from
the
punishment
of
sin
by
Him.
John 5:27
27
God
has
given
Him
the
right
and
the
power
to
say
if
people
are
guilty,
because
He
is
the
Son
of
Man.
John 12:47
47
If
anyone
hears
My
Words
but
does
not
believe
them,
I
do
not
say
he
is
guilty.
I
did
not
come
to
say
the
world
is
guilty.
I
came
to
save
the
world
from
the
punishment
of
sin.

1
That
same
day
Jesus
went
out
of
the
house
and
sat
by
the
lake.
2
Large
crowds
gathered
around
him,
so
he
got
into
a
boat
and
sat
down,
while
the
people
stood
on
the
shore.
3
Then
Jesus
used
stories
to
teach
them
many
things.
He
said:
"A
farmer
went
out
to
plant
his
seed.
4
While
he
was
planting,
some
seed
fell
by
the
road,
and
the
birds
came
and
ate
it
all
up.
5
Some
seed
fell
on
rocky
ground,
where
there
wasn't
much
dirt.
That
seed
grew
very
fast,
because
the
ground
was
not
deep.
6
But
when
the
sun
rose,
the
plants
dried
up,
because
they
did
not
have
deep
roots.
7
Some
other
seed
fell
among
thorny
weeds,
which
grew
and
choked
the
good
plants.
8
Some
other
seed
fell
on
good
ground
where
it
grew
and
produced
a
crop.
Some
plants
made
a
hundred
times
more,
some
made
sixty
times
more,
and
some
made
thirty
times
more.
9
You
people
who
can
hear
me,
listen."
10
The
followers
came
to
Jesus
and
asked,
"Why
do
you
use
stories
to
teach
the
people?"
11
Jesus
answered,
"You
have
been
chosen
to
know
the
secrets
about
the
kingdom
of
heaven,
but
others
cannot
know
these
secrets.
12
Those
who
have
understanding
will
be
given
more,
and
they
will
have
all
they
need.
But
those
who
do
not
have
understanding,
even
what
they
have
will
be
taken
away
from
them.
13
This
is
why
I
use
stories
to
teach
the
people:
They
see,
but
they
don't
really
see.
They
hear,
but
they
don't
really
hear
or
understand.
14
So
they
show
that
the
things
Isaiah
said
about
them
are
true:
'You
will
listen
and
listen,
but
you
will
not
understand.
You
will
look
and
look,
but
you
will
not
learn.
15
For
the
minds
of
these
people
have
become
stubborn.
They
do
not
hear
with
their
ears,
and
they
have
closed
their
eyes.
Otherwise
they
might
really
understand
what
they
see
with
their
eyes
and
hear
with
their
ears.
They
might
really
understand
in
their
minds
and
come
back
to
me
and
be
healed.'
16
But
you
are
blessed,
because
you
see
with
your
eyes
and
hear
with
your
ears.
17
I
tell
you
the
truth,
many
prophets
and
good
people
wanted
to
see
the
things
that
you
now
see,
but
they
did
not
see
them.
And
they
wanted
to
hear
the
things
that
you
now
hear,
but
they
did
not
hear
them.
18
"So
listen
to
the
meaning
of
that
story
about
the
farmer.
19
What
is
the
seed
that
fell
by
the
road?
That
seed
is
like
the
person
who
hears
the
message
about
the
kingdom
but
does
not
understand
it.
The
Evil
One
comes
and
takes
away
what
was
planted
in
that
person's
heart.
20
And
what
is
the
seed
that
fell
on
rocky
ground?
That
seed
is
like
the
person
who
hears
the
teaching
and
quickly
accepts
it
with
joy.
21
But
he
does
not
let
the
teaching
go
deep
into
his
life,
so
he
keeps
it
only
a
short
time.
When
trouble
or
persecution
comes
because
of
the
teaching
he
accepted,
he
quickly
gives
up.
22
And
what
is
the
seed
that
fell
among
the
thorny
weeds?
That
seed
is
like
the
person
who
hears
the
teaching
but
lets
worries
about
this
life
and
the
temptation
of
wealth
stop
that
teaching
from
growing.
So
the
teaching
does
not
produce
fruitn
in
that
person's
life.
23
But
what
is
the
seed
that
fell
on
the
good
ground?
That
seed
is
like
the
person
who
hears
the
teaching
and
understands
it.
That
person
grows
and
produces
fruit,
sometimes
a
hundred
times
more,
sometimes
sixty
times
more,
and
sometimes
thirty
times
more."
24
Then
Jesus
told
them
another
story:
"The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
man
who
planted
good
seed
in
his
field.
25
That
night,
when
everyone
was
asleep,
his
enemy
came
and
planted
weeds
among
the
wheat
and
then
left.
26
Later,
the
wheat
sprouted
and
the
heads
of
grain
grew,
but
the
weeds
also
grew.
27
Then
the
man's
servants
came
to
him
and
said,
'You
planted
good
seed
in
your
field.
Where
did
the
weeds
come
from?'
28
The
man
answered,
'An
enemy
planted
weeds.'
The
servants
asked,
'Do
you
want
us
to
pull
up
the
weeds?'
29
The
man
answered,
'No,
because
when
you
pull
up
the
weeds,
you
might
also
pull
up
the
wheat.
30
Let
the
weeds
and
the
wheat
grow
together
until
the
harvest
time.
At
harvest
time
I
will
tell
the
workers,
"First
gather
the
weeds
and
tie
them
together
to
be
burned.
Then
gather
the
wheat
and
bring
it
to
my
barn."'"
31
Then
Jesus
told
another
story:
"The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
mustard
seed
that
a
man
planted
in
his
field.
32
That
seed
is
the
smallest
of
all
seeds,
but
when
it
grows,
it
is
one
of
the
largest
garden
plants.
It
becomes
big
enough
for
the
wild
birds
to
come
and
build
nests
in
its
branches."
33
Then
Jesus
told
another
story:
"The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
yeast
that
a
woman
took
and
hid
in
a
large
tub
of
flour
until
it
made
all
the
dough
rise."
34
Jesus
used
stories
to
tell
all
these
things
to
the
people;
he
always
used
stories
to
teach
them.
35
This
is
as
the
prophet
said:
"I
will
speak
using
stories;
I
will
tell
things
that
have
been
secret
since
the
world
was
made."
36
Then
Jesus
left
the
crowd
and
went
into
the
house.
His
followers
came
to
him
and
said,
"Explain
to
us
the
meaning
of
the
story
about
the
weeds
in
the
field."
37
Jesus
answered,
"The
man
who
planted
the
good
seed
in
the
field
is
the
Son
of
Man.
38
The
field
is
the
world,
and
the
good
seed
are
all
of
God's
children
who
belong
to
the
kingdom.
The
weeds
are
those
people
who
belong
to
the
Evil
One.
39
And
the
enemy
who
planted
the
bad
seed
is
the
devil.
The
harvest
time
is
the
end
of
the
world,
and
the
workers
who
gather
are
God's
angels.
40
"Just
as
the
weeds
are
pulled
up
and
burned
in
the
fire,
so
it
will
be
at
the
end
of
the
world.
41
The
Son
of
Man
will
send
out
his
angels,
and
they
will
gather
out
of
his
kingdom
all
who
cause
sin
and
all
who
do
evil.
42
The
angels
will
throw
them
into
the
blazing
furnace,
where
the
people
will
cry
and
grind
their
teeth
with
pain.
43
Then
the
good
people
will
shine
like
the
sun
in
the
kingdom
of
their
Father.
You
people
who
can
hear
me,
listen.
44
"The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
treasure
hidden
in
a
field.
One
day
a
man
found
the
treasure,
and
then
he
hid
it
in
the
field
again.
He
was
so
happy
that
he
went
and
sold
everything
he
owned
to
buy
that
field.
45
"Also,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
man
looking
for
fine
pearls.
46
When
he
found
a
very
valuable
pearl,
he
went
and
sold
everything
he
had
and
bought
it.
47
"Also,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
net
that
was
put
into
the
lake
and
caught
many
different
kinds
of
fish.
48
When
it
was
full,
the
fishermen
pulled
the
net
to
the
shore.
They
sat
down
and
put
all
the
good
fish
in
baskets
and
threw
away
the
bad
fish.
49
It
will
be
this
way
at
the
end
of
the
world.
The
angels
will
come
and
separate
the
evil
people
from
the
good
people.
50
The
angels
will
throw
the
evil
people
into
the
blazing
furnace,
where
people
will
cry
and
grind
their
teeth
with
pain."
51
Jesus
asked
his
followers,
"Do
you
understand
all
these
things?"
They
answered,
"Yes,
we
understand."
52
Then
Jesus
said
to
them,
"So
every
teacher
of
the
law
who
has
been
taught
about
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
the
owner
of
a
house.
He
brings
out
both
new
things
and
old
things
he
has
saved."
53
When
Jesus
finished
teaching
with
these
stories,
he
left
there.
54
He
went
to
his
hometown
and
taught
the
people
in
the
synagogue,
and
they
were
amazed.
They
said,
"Where
did
this
man
get
this
wisdom
and
this
power
to
do
miracles?
55
He
is
just
the
son
of
a
carpenter.
His
mother
is
Mary,
and
his
brothers
are
James,
Joseph,
Simon,
and
Judas.
56
And
all
his
sisters
are
here
with
us.
Where
then
does
this
man
get
all
these
things?"
57
So
the
people
were
upset
with
Jesus.
But
Jesus
said
to
them,
"A
prophet
is
honored
everywhere
except
in
his
hometown
and
in
his
own
home."
58
So
he
did
not
do
many
miracles
there
because
they
had
no
faith.
John 3:17
17
God
did
not
send
his
Son
into
the
world
to
judge
the
world
guilty,
but
to
save
the
world
through
him.
John 12:47
47
Anyone
who
hears
my
words
and
does
not
obey
them,
I
do
not
judge,
because
I
did
not
come
to
judge
the
world,
but
to
save
the
world.

1
And
going
out
from
the
house
in
that
day,
Jesus
sat
down
by
the
sea.
2
And
great
crowds
were
gathered
to
Him,
so
that
having
entered
the
boat,
He
sat
down.
And
all
the
crowd
stood
on
the

3
And
He
spoke
to
them
many
things
in
parables,
saying:
Behold,
the
sower
went
out
to
sow.
4
And
in
his
sowing,
some
fell
by
the
roadside,
and
the
birds
came
and
ate
them.
5
And
other
fell
on
the
stony
places
where
they
did
not
have
much
earth,
and
it
immediately
sprang
up
because
it
had
no
deepness
of
earth.
6
And
the
sun
rising,
it
was
scorched;
and
because
of
having
no
root,
it
was
dried
up.
7
And
other
fell
on
the
thorn-bushes,
and
the
thorn-bushes
grew
up
and
choked
them.
8
And
other
fell
on
the
good
ground
and
yielded
fruit;
indeed,
one
a
hundredfold,
and
one
sixty,
and
one
thirty.
9
The
one
having
ears
to
hear,
let
him
hear.
10
And
coming
near,
the
disciples
said
to
Him,
Why
do
You
speak
to
them
in
parables?
11
And
answering,
He
said
to
them,
Because
it
has
been
given
to
you
to
know
the
mysteries
of
the
kingdom
of
Heaven,
but
it
has
not
been
given
to
those.
12
For
whoever
has,
to
him
will
be
given,
and
he
will
have
overabundance.
But
whoever
does
not
have,
even
what
he
has
will
be
taken
from
him.
13
Because
of
this,
I
speak
to
them
in
parables,
because
seeing
they
do
not
see,
and
hearing
they
do
not
hear,
nor
do
they
understand.
14
And
the
prophecy
of
Isaiah
is
fulfilled
on
them,
which
says,
"In
hearing
you
will
hear
and
in
no
way
understand,
and
seeing
you
will
see
yet
in
no
way
perceive.
15
For
the
heart
of
this
people
has
grown
fat,
and
they
heard
heavily
with
the
ears,
and
they
have
closed
their
eyes,
that
they
not
see
with
the
eyes,
or
hear
with
the
ears,
and
understand
with
the
heart,
and
be
converted,
and
I
heal
them."
Isa.
6:9,
10
16
But
your
eyes
are
blessed
because
they
see;
and
your
ears
because
they
hear.
17
For
truly
I
tell
you
that
many
prophets
and
righteous
ones
desired
to
see
what
you
see
and
did
not
see,
and
to
hear
what
you
hear
and
did
not
hear.
18
Then
hear
the
parable
of
the
sower:
19
Everyone
hearing
the
Word
of
the
kingdom,
and
not
understanding,
then
the
evil
one
comes
and
catches
away
that
which
was
sown
in
his
heart.
This
is
that
sown
by
the
roadside.
20
And
that
sown
on
the
stony
places
is
this:
the
one
hearing
the
Word,
and
immediately
receiving
it
with
joy,
21
but
has
no
root
in
himself,
but
is
temporary,
and
tribulation,
or
persecution
occurring
because
of
the
Word,
he
is
at
once
offended.
22
And
that
sown
into
the
thorn
bushes
is
this:
the
one
hearing
the
Word,
and
the
anxiety
of
this
age,
and
the
deceit
of
riches,
choke
the
Word,
and
it
becomes
unfruitful.
23
But
that
sown
on
the
good
ground
is
this:
the
one
hearing
the
Word,
and
understanding
it,
who
indeed
bears
and
yields
fruit,
one
truly
a
hundredfold,
and
one
sixty,
and
one
thirty.
24
He
put
before
them
another
parable,
saying:
The
kingdom
of
Heaven
is
compared
to
a
man
sowing
good
seed
in
his
fields.
25
But
while
the
men
were
sleeping,
one
hostile
to
him
came
and
sowed
darnel
in
the
midst
of
the
wheat,
and
went
away.
26
And
when
the
blade
sprouted
and
produced
fruit,
then
the
darnel
also
appeared.
27
And
coming
near,
the
slaves
of
the
housemaster
said
to
him,
Sir,
did
you
not
sow
good
seed
in
your
field?
Then
from
where
does
it
have
the
darnel?
28
And
he
said
to
them,
A
man,
an
enemy
did
this.
And
the
slaves
said
to
him,
Do
you
desire,
then,
that
going
out
we
should
gather
them?
29
But
he
said,
No,
lest
gathering
the
darnel
you
should
uproot
the
wheat
with
them.
30
Allow
both
to
grow
together
until
the
harvest.
And
in
the
time
of
the
harvest
I
will
say
to
the
reapers,
First
gather
the
darnel,
and
bind
them
into
bundles
to
burn
them,
but
gather
the
wheat
into
my
granary.
31
He
put
another
parable
before
them,
saying:
The
kingdom
of
Heaven
is
compared
to
a
grain
of
mustard,
which
taking,
a
man
sowed
in
his
field;
32
which
indeed
is
less
than
all
the
seeds,
but
when
it
is
grown
it
is
greater
than
the
plants,
and
becomes
a
tree,
so
that
the
birds
of
the
heaven
come
and
roost
in
its
branches.
33
He
spoke
another
parable
to
them:
The
kingdom
of
Heaven
is
compared
to
leaven,
which
taking,
a
woman
hid
in
three
measures
of
meal
until
the
whole
was
leavened.
34
Jesus
spoke
all
these
things
in
parables
to
the
crowds,
and
He
did
not
speak
to
them
without
a
parable,
35
so
that
was
fulfilled
that
spoken
through
the
prophet,
saying:
"I
will
open
My
mouth
in
parables;
I
will
speak
out
things
hidden
from
the
foundation
of
the
world."
Psa.
78:2
36
Then
sending
away
the
crowds,
Jesus
came
into
the
house.
And
His
disciples
came
to
Him,
saying,
Explain
to
us
the
parable
of
the
darnel
of
the
field.
37
And
answering,
He
said
to
them,
The
One
sowing
the
good
seed
is
the
Son
of
Man.
38
And
the
field
is
the
world;
and
the
good
seed,
these
are
the
sons
of
the
kingdom;
but
the
darnel
are
the
sons
of
the
evil
one.
39
And
the
hostile
one
who
sowed
them
is
the
Devil,
and
the
harvest
is
the
end
of
the
age,
and
the
angels
are
the
reapers.
40
Then
as
the
darnel
is
gathered
and
is
consumed
in
the
fire,
so
it
will
be
in
the
completion
of
this
age.
41
The
Son
of
Man
will
send
forth
His
angels,
and
they
will
gather
out
of
His
kingdom
all
the
offenses,
and
those
who
practice
lawlessness.
42
And
they
will
throw
them
into
the
furnace
of
fire;
there
will
be
weeping
and
gnashing
of
the
teeth.
43
Then
the
righteous
will
shine
out
like
the
sun
in
the
kingdom
of
their
Father.
The
one
having
ears
to
hear,
let
him
hear.
44
Again,
the
kingdom
of
Heaven
is
compared
to
treasure
being
hidden
in
the
field,
which
finding,
a
man
hid;
and
for
the
joy
of
it,
he
goes
and
sells
all
things,
as
many
as
he
has,
and
buys
that
field.
45
Again,
the
kingdom
of
Heaven
is
compared
to
a
man,
a
merchant
seeking
excellent
pearls;
46
who
finding
one
very
precious
pearl,
going
away
has
sold
all
things,
as
many
as
he
had,
and
bought
it.
47
Again,
the
kingdom
of
Heaven
is
compared
to
a
drag
net
thrown
into
the
sea,
and
gathering
together
of
every
kind;
48
which,
when
it
was
filled,
drawing
it
up
on
the
shore,
and
sitting
down,
they
gathered
the
good
into
containers,
and
they
threw
out
the
rotten.
49
So
it
will
be
in
the
completion
of
the
age:
the
angels
will
go
out
and
will
separate
the
evil
from
the
midst
of
the
righteous,
50
and
will
throw
them
into
the
furnace
of
fire;
there
will
be
weeping
and
gnashing
of
the
teeth.
51
Jesus
said
to
them,
Have
you
understood
all
these
things?
They
said
to
Him,
Yes,
Lord.
52
And
He
said
to
them,
Because
of
this,
every
scribe
schooled
to
the
kingdom
of
Heaven
is
like
a
man,
a
master
of
a
house,
who
puts
forth
out
of
his
treasure
new
and
old.
53
And
it
happened,
when
Jesus
had
finished
these
parables,
He
moved
from
there.
54
And
coming
into
His
own
country,
He
taught
them
in
their
synagogue,
so
that
they
were
astonished,
and
said,
Where
did
this
One
get
this
wisdom,
and
the
powerful
works?
55
Is
this
not
the
carpenter's
son?
Is
not
His
mother
called
Mary,
and
His
brothers,
James,
and
Joses,
and
Simon,
and
Judas?
56
And
are
not
His
sisters
all
with
us?
From
where
then
did
this
One
get
all
these
things?
57
And
they
were
offended
in
Him.
But
Jesus
said
to
them,
A
prophet
is
not
without
honor,
except
in
his
own
fatherland,
and
in
his
own
house.
58
And
He
did
not
do
many
works
of
power
there
because
of
their
unbelief.
John 3:17
17
For
God
did
not
send
His
Son
into
the
world
that
He
might
judge
the
world,
but
that
the
world
might
be
saved
through
Him.
John 5:27
27
And
He
also
gave
authority
to
Him
to
execute
judgment,
for
He
is
the
Son
of
Man.
John 12:47
47
And
if
anyone
hears
My
Words
and
does
not
believe,
I
do
not
judge
him;
for
I
did
not
come
that
I
might
judge
the
world,
but
that
I
might
save
the
world.

1
On
that
day
Jesus
went
out
of
the
house
and
was
sitting
by
the
sea.
2
Such
large
crowds
gathered
around
Him
that
He
got
into
a
boat
and
sat
down,
while
the
whole
crowd
stood
on
the
shore.
3
Then
He
told
them
many
things
in
parables,
saying:
"Consider
the
sower
who
went
out
to
sow.
4
As
he
was
sowing,
some
seeds
fell
along
the
path,
and
the
birds
came
and
ate
them
up.
5
Others
fell
on
rocky
ground,
where
there
wasn't
much
soil,
and
they
sprang
up
quickly
since
the
soil
wasn't
deep.
6
But
when
the
sun
came
up
they
were
scorched,
and
since
they
had
no
root,
they
withered.
7
Others
fell
among
thorns,
and
the
thorns
came
up
and
choked
them.
8
Still
others
fell
on
good
ground,
and
produced
a
crop:
some
100,
some
60,
and
some
30
times
what
was
sown.
9
Anyone
who
has
ears
should
listen!"
10
Then
the
disciples
came
up
and
asked
Him,
"Why
do
You
speak
to
them
in
parables?"
11
He
answered
them,
"Because
the
secrets
of
the
kingdom
of
heaven
have
been
given
for
you
to
know,
but
it
has
not
been
given
to
them.
12
For
whoever
has,
more
will
be
given
to
him,
and
he
will
have
more
than
enough.
But
whoever
does
not
have,
even
what
he
has
will
be
taken
away
from
him.
13
For
this
reason
I
speak
to
them
in
parables,
because
looking
they
do
not
see,
and
hearing
they
do
not
listen
or
understand.
14
Isaiah's
prophecy
is
fulfilled
in
them,
which
says:
You
will
listen
and
listen,
yet
never
understand;
and
you
will
look
and
look,
yet
never
perceive.
15
For
this
people's
heart
has
grown
callous;
their
ears
are
hard
of
hearing,
and
they
have
shut
their
eyes;
otherwise
they
might
see
with
their
eyes
and
hear
with
their
ears,
understand
with
their
hearts
and
turn
back--
and
I
would
cure
them.
16
"But
your
eyes
are
blessed
because
they
do
see,
and
your
ears
because
they
do
hear!
17
For
I
assure
you:
Many
prophets
and
righteous
people
longed
to
see
the
things
you
see
yet
didn't
see
them;
to
hear
the
things
you
hear
yet
didn't
hear
them.
18
"You,
then,
listen
to
the
parable
of
the
sower:
19
When
anyone
hears
the
word
about
the
kingdom
and
doesn't
understand
it,
the
evil
one
comes
and
snatches
away
what
was
sown
in
his
heart.
This
is
the
one
sown
along
the
path.
20
And
the
one
sown
on
rocky
ground--
this
is
one
who
hears
the
word
and
immediately
receives
it
with
joy.
21
Yet
he
has
no
root
in
himself,
but
is
short-lived.
When
pressure
or
persecution
comes
because
of
the
word,
immediately
he
stumbles.
22
Now
the
one
sown
among
the
thorns--
this
is
one
who
hears
the
word,
but
the
worries
of
this
age
and
the
seduction
of
wealth
choke
the
word,
and
it
becomes
unfruitful.
23
But
the
one
sown
on
the
good
ground--
this
is
one
who
hears
and
understands
the
word,
who
does
bear
fruit
and
yields:
some
100,
some
60,
some
30
times
what
was
sown."
24
He
presented
another
parable
to
them:
"The
kingdom
of
heaven
may
be
compared
to
a
man
who
sowed
good
seed
in
his
field.
25
But
while
people
were
sleeping,
his
enemy
came,
sowed
weeds
among
the
wheat,
and
left.
26
When
the
plants
sprouted
and
produced
grain,
then
the
weeds
also
appeared.
27
The
landowner's
slaves
came
to
him
and
said,
'Master,
didn't
you
sow
good
seed
in
your
field?
Then
where
did
the
weeds
come
from?'
28
"
'An
enemy
did
this!'
he
told
them.
"
'So,
do
you
want
us
to
go
and
gather
them
up?'
the
slaves
asked
him.
29
"
'No,'
he
said.
'When
you
gather
up
the
weeds,
you
might
also
uproot
the
wheat
with
them.
30
Let
both
grow
together
until
the
harvest.
At
harvest
time
I'll
tell
the
reapers:
Gather
the
weeds
first
and
tie
them
in
bundles
to
burn
them,
but
store
the
wheat
in
my
barn.
'"
31
He
presented
another
parable
to
them:
"The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
mustard
seed
that
a
man
took
and
sowed
in
his
field.
32
It's
the
smallest
of
all
the
seeds,
but
when
grown,
it's
taller
than
the
vegetables
and
becomes
a
tree,
so
that
the
birds
of
the
sky
come
and
nest
in
its
branches."
33
He
told
them
another
parable:
"The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
yeast
that
a
woman
took
and
mixed
into
50
pounds
of
flour
until
it
spread
through
all
of
it."
34
Jesus
told
the
crowds
all
these
things
in
parables,
and
He
would
not
speak
anything
to
them
without
a
parable,
35
so
that
what
was
spoken
through
the
prophet
might
be
fulfilled:
I
will
open
My
mouth
in
parables;
I
will
declare
things
kept
secret
from
the
foundation
of
the
world.
36
Then
He
dismissed
the
crowds
and
went
into
the
house.
His
disciples
approached
Him
and
said,
"Explain
the
parable
of
the
weeds
in
the
field
to
us."
37
He
replied:
"The
One
who
sows
the
good
seed
is
the
Son
of
Man;
38
the
field
is
the
world;
and
the
good
seed--
these
are
the
sons
of
the
kingdom.
The
weeds
are
the
sons
of
the
evil
one,
and
39
the
enemy
who
sowed
them
is
the
Devil.
The
harvest
is
the
end
of
the
age,
and
the
harvesters
are
angels.
40
Therefore
just
as
the
weeds
are
gathered
and
burned
in
the
fire,
so
it
will
be
at
the
end
of
the
age.
41
The
Son
of
Man
will
send
out
His
angels,
and
they
will
gather
from
His
kingdom
everything
that
causes
sin
and
those
guilty
of
lawlessness.
42
They
will
throw
them
into
the
blazing
furnace
where
there
will
be
weeping
and
gnashing
of
teeth.
43
Then
the
righteous
will
shine
like
the
sun
in
their
Father's
kingdom.
Anyone
who
has
ears
should
listen!
44
"The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
treasure,
buried
in
a
field,
that
a
man
found
and
reburied.
Then
in
his
joy
he
goes
and
sells
everything
he
has
and
buys
that
field.
45
"Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
merchant
in
search
of
fine
pearls.
46
When
he
found
one
priceless
pearl,
he
went
and
sold
everything
he
had,
and
bought
it.
47
"Again,
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
large
net
thrown
into
the
sea.
It
collected
every
kind
of
fish,
48
and
when
it
was
full,
they
dragged
it
ashore,
sat
down,
and
gathered
the
good
fish
into
containers,
but
threw
out
the
worthless
ones.
49
So
it
will
be
at
the
end
of
the
age.
The
angels
will
go
out,
separate
the
evil
people
from
the
righteous,
50
and
throw
them
into
the
blazing
furnace.
In
that
place
there
will
be
weeping
and
gnashing
of
teeth.
51
"Have
you
understood
all
these
things?"
"Yes,"
they
told
Him.
52
"Therefore,"
He
said
to
them,
"every
student
of
Scripture
instructed
in
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
a
landowner
who
brings
out
of
his
storeroom
what
is
new
and
what
is
old."
53
When
Jesus
had
finished
these
parables,
He
left
there.
54
He
went
to
His
hometown
and
began
to
teach
them
in
their
synagogue,
so
that
they
were
astonished
and
said,
"How
did
this
wisdom
and
these
miracles
come
to
Him?
55
Isn't
this
the
carpenter's
son?
Isn't
His
mother
called
Mary,
and
His
brothers
James,
Joseph,
Simon,
and
Judas?
56
And
His
sisters,
aren't
they
all
with
us?
So
where
does
He
get
all
these
things?"
57
And
they
were
offended
by
Him.
But
Jesus
said
to
them,
"A
prophet
is
not
without
honor
except
in
his
hometown
and
in
his
household."
58
And
He
did
not
do
many
miracles
there
because
of
their
unbelief.
John 3:17
17
For
God
did
not
send
His
Son
into
the
world
that
He
might
judge
the
world,
but
that
the
world
might
be
saved
through
Him.
John 5:27
27
And
He
has
granted
Him
the
right
to
pass
judgment,
because
He
is
the
Son
of
Man.
John 12:47
47
If
anyone
hears
My
words
and
doesn't
keep
them,
I
do
not
judge
him;
for
I
did
not
come
to
judge
the
world
but
to
save
the
world.
