Numbers 33:1 (ERVEN) Easy to Read - English

1 These are the places the Israelites went when Moses and Aaron led them out of Egypt.
2 Moses wrote about the places they went. He wrote what the Lord wanted. Here are the places they went and when they left:
3 On the 15 day of the first month, they left Rameses. That morning after Passover, the Israelites marched out of Egypt with their arms raised in victory. All the people of Egypt saw them.
4 The Egyptians were burying all the people the Lord killed. They were burying all their firstborn sons. The Lord had shown his judgment against the gods of Egypt.
5 The Israelites left Rameses and traveled to Succoth.
6 From Succoth they traveled to Etham. They camped there at the edge of the desert.
7 They left Etham and went to Pi Hahiroth. This was near Baal Zephon. They camped near Migdol.
8 They left Pi Hahiroth and walked through the middle of the sea. They went toward the desert. Then they traveled for three days through the Etham desert. The people camped at Marah.
9 They left Marah and went to Elim and camped there. There were 12 springs of water and 70 palm trees there.
10 They left Elim and camped near the Red Sea.
11 They left the Red Sea and camped in the desert of Zin.
12 They left the desert of Zin and camped at Dophkah.
13 They left Dophkah and camped at Alush.
14 They left Alush and camped at Rephidim. There was no water for the people to drink at that place.
15 They left Rephidim and camped in the Sinai desert.
16 They left the Sinai desert and camped at Kibroth Hattaavah.
17 They left Kibroth Hattaavah and camped at Hazeroth.
18 They left Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah.
19 They left Rithmah and camped at Rimmon Perez.
20 They left Rimmon Perez and camped at Libnah.
21 They left Libnah and camped at Rissah.
22 They left Rissah and camped at Kehelathah.
23 They left Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher.
24 They left Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah.
25 They left Haradah and camped at Makheloth.
26 They left Makheloth and camped at Tahath.
27 They left Tahath and camped at Terah.
28 They left Terah and camped at Mithcah.
29 They left Mithcah and camped at Hashmonah.
30 They left Hashmonah and camped at Moseroth.
31 They left Moseroth and camped at Bene Jaakan.
32 They left Bene Jaakan and camped at Hor Haggidgad.
33 They left Hor Haggidgad and camped at Jotbathah.
34 They left Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.
35 They left Abronah and camped at Ezion Geber.
36 They left Ezion Geber and camped at Kadesh, in the Zin desert.
37 They left Kadesh and camped at Hor. This was the mountain at the border of the country Edom.
38 Aaron the priest obeyed the Lord and went up Mount Hor. Aaron died at that place on the first day of the fifth month. That was the 40 year after the Israelites had left Egypt.
39 Aaron was 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor.
40 Arad was a town in the Negev in the land of Canaan. The Canaanite king in that place heard that the Israelites were coming.
41 The people left Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.
42 They left Zalmonah and camped at Punon.
43 They left Punon and camped at Oboth.
44 They left Oboth and camped at Iye Abarim. This was at the border of the country Moab.
45 They left Iyim (Iye Abarim) and camped at Dibon Gad.
46 They left Dibon Gad and camped at Almon Diblathaim.
47 They left Almon Diblathaim and camped on the mountains of Abarim near Nebo.
48 They left the mountains of Abarim and camped in the Jordan Valley in Moab. This was near the Jordan River across from Jericho.
49 They camped by the Jordan River in the Jordan Valley in Moab. Their camp went from Beth Jeshimoth to Acacia Field.
50 There, the Lord spoke to Moses and said,
51 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them this: You will cross the Jordan River. You will go into the land of Canaan.
52 You will take the land from the people you find there. You must destroy all of their carved statues and idols. You must destroy all of their high places.
53 You will take the land and you will settle there, because I am giving this land to you. It will belong to your family groups.
54 Each of your family groups will get part of the land. You will throw lots to decide which family group gets each part of the country. Large family groups will get large parts of the land. Small family groups will get small parts of the land. The lots will show which family group gets which part of the land. Each tribe will get its part of the land.
55 "You must force these other people to leave the country. If you let them stay in your country, they will bring many troubles to you. They will be like a needle in your eye and a thorn in your side. They will bring many troubles to the country where you will be living.
56 I showed you what I would do�and I will do that to you!"

6 And they departed H5265 from Succoth H4480 H5523 , and pitched H2583 in Etham, H864 which H834 is in the edge H7097 of the wilderness. H4057
7 And they removed H5265 from Etham H4480 H864 , and turned again H7725 unto H5921 Pi- H6367 hahiroth, which H834 is before H5921 H6440 Baal- H1189 zephon : and they pitched H2583 before H6440 Migdol. H4024

38 And Aaron H175 the priest H3548 went up H5927 into H413 mount H2022 Hor H2023 at H5921 the commandment H6310 of the LORD, H3068 and died H4191 there, H8033 in the fortieth H705 year H8141 after the children H1121 of Israel H3478 were come out H3318 of the land H4480 H776 of Egypt, H4714 in the first H259 day of the fifth H2549 month. H2320
39 And Aaron H175 was a hundred H3967 and twenty H6242 and three H7969 years H8141 old H1121 when he died H4194 in mount H2022 Hor. H2023
40 And king H4428 Arad H6166 the Canaanite, H3669 which H1931 dwelt H3427 in the south H5045 in the land H776 of Canaan, H3667 heard H8085 of the coming H935 of the children H1121 of Israel. H3478
41 And they departed H5265 from mount H2022 Hor H4480 H2023 , and pitched H2583 in Zalmonah. H6758
42 And they departed H5265 from Zalmonah H4480 H6758 , and pitched H2583 in Punon. H6325
43 And they departed H5265 from Punon H4480 H6325 , and pitched H2583 in Oboth. H88
44 And they departed H5265 from Oboth H4480 H88 , and pitched H2583 in Ije- H5863 abarim , in the border H1366 of Moab. H4124
45 And they departed H5265 from Iim H4480 H5864 , and pitched H2583 in Dibon- H1769 gad.
46 And they removed H5265 from Dibon H4480 H1769 -gad , and encamped H2583 in Almon- H5963 diblathaim.
47 And they removed H5265 from Almon H4480 H5963 -diblathaim , and pitched H2583 in the mountains H2022 of Abarim, H5682 before H6440 Nebo. H5015
48 And they departed H5265 from the mountains H4480 H2022 of Abarim, H5682 and pitched H2583 in the plains H6160 of Moab H4124 by H5921 Jordan H3383 near Jericho. H3405
49 And they pitched H2583 by H5921 Jordan, H3383 from Beth H4480 H1020 -jesimoth even unto H5704 Abel- H63 shittim in the plains H6160 of Moab. H4124
50 And the LORD H3068 spoke H1696 unto H413 Moses H4872 in the plains H6160 of Moab H4124 by H5921 Jordan H3383 near Jericho, H3405 saying, H559
51 Speak H1696 unto H413 the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 and say H559 unto H413 them, When H3588 ye H859 are passed over H5674 H853 Jordan H3383 into H413 the land H776 of Canaan; H3667
52 Then ye shall drive out H3423 H853 all H3605 the inhabitants H3427 of the land H776 from before H4480 H6440 you , and destroy H6 H853 all H3605 their pictures, H4906 and destroy H6 all H3605 their molten H4541 images H6754 and quite pluck down H8045 all H3605 their high places: H1116
53 And ye shall dispossess H3423 the inhabitants H853 of the land, H776 and dwell H3427 therein: for H3588 I have given H5414 you H853 the land H776 to possess H3423 it.
54 And ye shall divide the land H776 by lot H1486 for an inheritance among your families: H4940 and to the more H7227 ye shall give the more inheritance, H5159 and to the fewer H4592 ye shall give the less inheritance: H5159 every man's inheritance shall be H1961 in the place where H413 H834 H8033 his lot H1486 falleth; H3318 according to the tribes H4294 of your fathers H1 ye shall inherit. H5157
55 But if H518 ye will not H3808 drive out H3423 H853 the inhabitants H3427 of the land H776 from before H4480 H6440 you ; then it shall come to pass, H1961 that those which H834 ye let remain H3498 of H4480 them shall be pricks H7899 in your eyes, H5869 and thorns H6976 in your sides, H6654 and shall vex H6887 you in H5921 the land H776 wherein H834 ye H859 dwell. H3427
56 Moreover it shall come to pass, H1961 that I shall do H6213 unto you, as H834 I thought H1819 to do H6213 unto them.
